Honestly, if we want to protect Lewis's legacy, he might be better off sitting out this race and the next one. It would give Valtteri Bottas a chance to prove he’s more than just a placeholder—showing everyone what he was capable of back at Williams (maybe even giving his teammate a run for his money)—while also preventing Mercedes from just steamrolling the field. It'd be nice to actually see some new faces in the winner's circle for once.

Honestly, I don't know how I'd handle it if you started shoving today's Mercedes performance—that eighth, or rather ninth, place finish—right in my face.

Hulk seems like the logical pick here 😈 anyway, he’s already driven a Mercedes clone before, haha. But maybe Mercedes is too scared to actually seat someone talented—what if they end up being better than Bottas?—so they might just dig up some mid-tier talent instead, IMHO.
