How do I use Multi-Quote?

Look, if you want to fix that messy quote icon at the bottom of the post, you have to be smart about it. First, just delete that initial quote block before you even start typing your actual commentary. But—and here's the catch—if you do that, you lose the username and the direct link back to their original message. So, what I usually do to keep things organized is take that specific snippet,

The reason that stays stuck inside that massive block is because once you highlight and quote specific snippets, you totally forget to delete the giant container box that pops up automatically when you hit the quote button at the bottom of a post. It’s a rookie mistake, really.

But if you do that, you lose the username of the person you're replying to and the direct link back to their original post. So, what I always end up doing—and this is my go-to move—is just grab the tail end of their post, cut it, and paste it right onto the end of the first section I want to comment on. Then, for everything else, I just use that "highlight then quote" method.

Delete that massive block of text you get whenever you hit the quote icon at the bottom of a post.

That's why you have to clear out that first quote before you even start typing your reply. Otherwise, it'll just look like a mess.

I guess I’m just sitting here waiting for something to actually happen. It feels like we're all just spinning our wheels, maybe. Everything seems a bit stalled lately. Just one of those days, I suppose.
