The subject at hand is essentially a pebble stuck in my shoe. It isn’t causing constant discomfort, yet standing directly on the spot where it rests becomes quite painful. Could someone please advise on the best way to extract it?

So, if you wanted to find a surgeon who actually specializes in this kind of thing, who would you even look for? 😕

It probably hasn't gone in super deep. For starters, ask a guy—your husband, son, whatever—to try digging it out with a needle or some other sharp tool. I've had great luck doing that myself when I've stepped on glass or even a hedgehog spine back in the day. 😁

If they can't get it, just head straight to the ER. They'll make a little incision around the area and pull it right out.

Much appreciated, truly, but is there perhaps a less painful alternative?😢

Look, it doesn't even hurt that bad unless you start poking at it with a needle.

Imagine dealing with a kidney stone 🙄

Enivej, maybe try some herbal tea or something... if that doesn't cut it, just grab a chainsaw and take a little off above the ankle. No big deal, right? ☕

Worst case scenario, just head over to the CNN ER 😉

Well, I decided to try the needle approach, and it actually worked. 🤣 🤣 🤣To be honest, it was a bit painful, but the result justifies the discomfort—I finally got it out. 🙏
