Look, it might happen, or it might not—who knows? Maybe the fourth installment turns out to be absolute garbage that just gets flushed down the toilet to squeeze out a quick buck. You can never really tell with this stuff.

Personally, I’d love to see them actually step up and make this one more serious than the previous entries—but honestly, I’m not holding my breath. I won't believe it'll be any good until they swap out Milla Jovovich. She just isn't cut out for the lead role.

Anyone who has actually sat through the Resident Evil movies knows there are six installments out there...
I currently have Afterlife and Extinction, which makes six and five in my count, I guess. The issue is that I’d really like to watch the rest of them, but I honestly can't keep the titles straight. I've tried searching everywhere and downloading stuff via torrents, but most of the time I just end up grabbing some random garbage or accidentally downloading the Resident Evil game instead. So, if anyone actually knows the correct order or names, I could really use some help here.😉)

There are only 4 movies in total—Afterlife is the 4th, and Extinction is the 3rd. I’m genuinely curious who on earth sold you that story about there being 6 parts...

So, I was browsing online and read that there are six installments in the sequence, following this order:
firstly Resident Evil (2002), then the trilogy consisting of Apocalypse,
Degeneration, Extinction, and Afterlife.
But honestly, Degeneration is total garbage. I’ve seen Apocalypse too, but if you don't count Degeneration, there should only be five parts in total.🤷

Degeneration is an animated flick and—as Evil says—it’s got absolutely nothing to do with the movies. Part 6 is just gonna be a continuation of that animated story, which, let's be real, won't have anything to do with the films either...

It doesn't matter what they decide to do for an Afterlife sequel... Does anyone happen to know what the title for part 6 will actually be? Every time I search online for Resident Evil 6, it just keeps pulling up Afterlife for me.😕

From what I've heard, there might be one, but I wouldn't hold my breath for an animated sequel. That one isn't connected to the movies at all, so it feels pretty silly to think of it as a follow-up to the film tetralogy.

So, if we're following that logic, which one would actually work as a sequel to Afterlife? Part 6?

In my opinion, that actress is incredibly attractive. If I recall correctly, she's from Ukraine and her name is Milla Jovovich.😁

I think that one might be my absolute favorite 😁

I'm not really one for animated films myself. I’m just holding out hope for a sequel to Afterlife Alice, though at this rate, that might be a few years away before we see anything happen...
Also, I wanted to ask if anyone here could recommend some other solid zombie movies? 😉

Well, Milla Jovovich and her husband (who I believe is the director behind this quartet, if memory serves me right) stated immediately after "Afterlife" hit theaters that they were already gearing up for the next installment.

That’s exactly what everyone was saying right after Afterlife hit theaters, but honestly, I have no clue what's happening now. I haven't really been keeping up with the news lately.

It feels a bit silly to have finished Afterlife when a sequel would be the obvious next step, and honestly, they’ll probably make one... At the end, Chris Redfield asks "Who is Alice?" and she just replies "Trouble"... They are almost certainly going to produce a follow-up, likely already filming right now, though we'll just have to wait and see when it actually hits theaters...😉

It's announced for next year, but whether it actually releases then is a different story... 🤷
