Jack Sedlar is working on a new documentary, and this one is all about Adolf Hitler. He’s managed to get his hands on a ton of footage that’s never been seen before, so this could actually turn out to be a pretty gripping watch.

I read somewhere that the premiere is going to happen in Israel first since they're the ones funding Sedlar, but I haven't found any word on whether it'll be shown here in the States. If anyone has any inside scoop, please feel free to drop it here! 😉

The premiere for the movie about Adolf Hitler is happening in Israel... Hmm... While I personally consider Hitler a criminal, I think there might be some questions regarding the film's credibility, given that I doubt it will pass through the rigorous screening process of Israeli institutions without issue. But hey, we'll see how it plays out...

Is Macaulay Culkin actually going to play Adolf Hitler?

I’d love to follow up on that with something truly terrible, but I value my account too much to risk a ban.😵

Man, I’d love to jump off your post and take this in a really nasty direction, but honestly? I’m too afraid of getting banned. 😵

So, did you actually end up following up on my post or what? 😕

I suppose I should endure yet another one of Sedlar's absolute piles of garbage

I'm not holding my breath for this one, honestly. The fact that Israel is footing the bill for the movie feels a little off to me.

let’s just be real for a second here... without all the bias and the constant bickering... are we actually having a conversation about this movie, or is this really just an interrogation of Adolf Hitler himself? look, to me, Hitler is a total disgrace, there's no doubt about that, but he was still a man who made mistakes—not that I'm making any excuses for his atrocities, obviously, but if we're playing this game, we could easily start talking about how Stalin committed plenty of even more horrific crimes... but hey, we live in such a narrow-minded country where you aren't allowed to raise a single finger against a communist criminal, hell, we even have a whole city plaza named after him... God help us... as far as the film goes... Jack Sedlar is Jack Sedlar... and let's be honest, most of you probably hate him just because he isn't afraid to show some patriotism... have we really reached the point where we're embarrassed by anyone showing American pride? the movie is going to be great... the footage and the evidence are solid... but we already knew this project would be met with nothing but hostility... what a massive surprise!!!

I haven't liked Jack Sedlar's previous films for one simple reason: they're garbage. It has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism or anything of the sort. That doesn't mean this upcoming film will be more to my taste. You seem to be asking if this is a discussion about a movie, yet you've smothered it in political rambling. I don't believe anyone here is actually debating the crimes of Hitler or Stalin; there is a dedicated "Politics" subforum for those debates, so I suggest you take it there.

I second everything said here! 👍
If you ask me, the movie should have been titled Adolf Hitler with a Facelift and Penis Enlargement by Jack Sedlar. This will probably just be another one of Jack's cinematic trips into the messy, failed parts of history. Maybe the movie won't be the absolute worst thing ever made, but its stench will definitely knock people unconscious and cause acute brain hemorrhages. Personally, I see Jack as an American version of Shyamalan, except Shyamalan actually has an "unexpected twist," whereas Jack's films just poke at "national pride." In any case, both are extremists of bad filmmaking. Look, Jack, if you're reading this, maybe just quit directing and go pick up a shovel or a hoe instead... best regards.

Ed Wood is dead, long live Jack Sedlar!
A director as controversial as the subject matter itself!

But I guess Ed Wood was just so bad that he actually became good (Plan 9 from Outer Space is a solid 10/10), or at least enough that his Burton biopic managed to snag two Oscars, lol. I doubt Jack will ever hit that level of cult status or popularity, even if his work is way more amateurish than Wood's.

......................👎!We figured out you aren't exactly a fan of Sedlar, Hitler, or history, no matter how it's written. If the bigger villains and even worse directors got their "five minutes" of fame, let's see what these "five minutes" bring. Run away from that stench and all that nonsense about brain hemorrhages... before the movie even starts.🤣

Making a film about villains isn't inherently problematic at all; after all, there have been several quite competent films made about Adolf Hitler, so I fail to see why one couldn't be made about Pavelić.

The real issue here—given my familiarity with Jack Sedlar—is that this project will almost certainly manifest as a biased apology for Pavelić's politics, rather than serving as an actual historical document regarding a significant figure of a nation, much like the film Downfall.

Honestly, the direction is criminal—it’s practically unwatchable if you judge it by Sedlar's other work. But hey, I am actually really looking forward to this one! 🤣

Droljores Lambaša is set to play Pavelić... they actually have a similar vibe... she seems to have a thing for older, dominant types—much like how Ante the idiot was obsessed with Adolf.

Probably just the Dinamo Chicago Supporters Club and the guys from the American Gentleman Movement, because I heard they already booked out every single seat. 🙂
