I mean, this happened because some absolute genius—or maybe a total moron, honestly—decided to name their whole website ******** just to be edgy. And now, of course, they’ve gone ahead and banned that specific word entirely. Like, seriously? What a joke. 😁

Hmm, I'm pretty sure the soccer word was blocked on this forum about two years ago. Then, just two months ago, we finally got some democracy back... 🤔

Actually, you kind of have a point there—but if that’s how it works, does it mean we should expect them to block half the dictionary soon? I mean, plenty of news sites have words in their names like "water," "plant," "university," or even names of notorious corrupt politicians and local bigshots. 🙂

They must be pretty damn confident in their own quality if they’re actually worried about some anonymous trolls poaching their users. 😁

Look, if you want to block certain shady terms used for ads or referral links, fine, that actually makes sense. But trying to block a word that people use constantly in regular conversation? That’s just counterproductive. Honestly, it's way less damaging than leaving the word alone, because the total circus that breaks out when the moderators start acting like little tyrants is much worse🙂 Especially on subforums where the word "********" is everywhere—like on the Soccer word subforum where everyone keeps saying "referee"😁

And seriously, ever since those clowns hid that crap with asterisks, not a single decent post has made it through. It used to be a straight line of quality content🙂

Everything gets censored constantly; at this rate, they're going to kick us off this (totally undemocratic) forum altogether. 😢 If only 😁

But honestly, blocking specific words is just stupid—you have moderators, supermods, admins, and a button to report ( 🤣 ) an unpleasant post. People can just hit that button and flag anyone spamming portal links and stuff; that’s more than enough to fight advertising.
Censoring things like this just limits free speech and expression. In short, it makes no sense and does way more harm than good.

On top of that, you guys are constantly bombarding us (and I'm not talking about ad-blocker extensions, I'm talking about the principle here) with these pop-up ads that dance right in front of our eyes, blocking our view of what might actually be a quality post or thread. This is bad, really bad... 👎
