What causes a strong smell in semen?

About a year ago, I was involved in a sexual relationship with a woman. It wouldn't be strange if my semen hadn't seemingly changed scent because of it—it developed this distinct, sour note. It’s hard to describe, but there's a specific acidity to it now. I’m not so sure. I find it hard to buy that reasoning—the shift in odor is far too dramatic, yet there’s virtually no change in diet. You start thinking things will just resolve themselves, but they don't. It could be some bacterial issue, perhaps, but there aren't any actual symptoms or indicators of discomfort—no pain, nothing. Just an unpleasant smell. 😢The thought of going in for a checkup and having them shove all sorts of tubes and probes down my throat is honestly more than I can handle.

What on earth possessed you to engage in such a peculiar act as consuming your own semen?

It is possible you may have picked up a bacterial infection. Generally speaking, most bacteria don't bother men much—though I suppose I should apologize for that bit of luck we have😛—but they frequently cause inflammation and changes in scent for women. Perhaps it might be worth scheduling an appointment with a urologist if this is weighing on your mind?🤷
(P.S.—if it does turn out to be an infection, there is always the risk of passing it on to a future partner, so seeking professional advice might be the prudent choice.)

That is certainly an interesting, if somewhat peculiar, observation, but it is true that women are capable of ejaculating; while it isn't sperm, it is a real phenomenon that occurs quite frequently.😁

It honestly doesn't hurt that much... you just apply some local anesthetic and they take the swab. They aren't shoving any tubes down your throat or anything. The whole procedure is slightly uncomfortable, but actually getting the swab taken only takes about ten seconds or so...

What you're describing regarding how your partner reached climax and released all that fluid is called squirting. It’s perfectly normal for women; some release very little, while others release a lot and it basically sprays. It's pretty strange that you've never heard of this and are so surprised by it... hmmm... maybe you guys just don't know enough about sex... :P BYE!
