Listen...
Please don't mock this—I know some of you won't believe me.
Every so often, I feel this rhythmic thumping right near my navel. If I press my hand against it,
it feels as if my heart is beating down there. Has anyone else dealt with this, or does
anyone actually know what's going on?!🤷

I’m not pregnant—I’ve never even had sex.

😁 I don't know—maybe it's just some gas or something? Like, your gut's just full of air...

I wouldn't say that—this one feels more like a heartbeat.

Honestly, I get hit with that same feeling all the time, whether I'm here or out there somewhere else. And why? Man, I haven't got the slightest clue, I guess.🤷

Heh. I think I'll go pay my doctor a visit—it's been way too long. =D

If you’re on the thinner side—which, let’s be honest, most of us are—it’s actually pretty common to feel your abdominal aorta pulsing. It’s totally normal.

Trust me, I can feel it too... It’s absolutely insane. 😉

Yes, it’s likely your aorta, but you really should have your doctor listen closely to that specific spot. If they detect any murmur, getting an ultrasound would be a wise move just to verify the size of the aorta...

That’s just your aorta beating, honey, just like any normal person's. No need to worry. 😛

I'm pretty slim myself and I feel it sometimes too. Doesn't seem like anything to worry about. Usually, I notice it more when my blood pressure spikes because someone's being an idiot...😁

You should definitely ask your doctor for a referral to an internal medicine specialist just to get a closer look at your abdominal aorta and make sure everything is looking okay...

LISTEN UP!

It could potentially be an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Aortic aneurysms are most commonly triggered by atherosclerosis; however, high blood pressure remains a major contributing factor, along with any other conditions that accelerate arterial buildup...
