It’s a shame we don't have Neighbor around anymore. This is definitely a step backward.

So, what happened? Did his haters get him banned?

Nah.

It's just that the same troll who was playing the "Neighbor" role got bored of it—now he's trying to be funny by hanging out with Dana Perez6.

Same guy. Or maybe it's Jelenić.

Honestly, it's all the same person.

The Neighbor is one of a kind, but he hasn't been around for ages; his last post was checking in at the pits about 5 days ago.

Take a closer look—you quoted my post, so I was just replying. Honestly, I think you're the one craving attention here, not me, but whatever. Enjoy yourself, I don't give a damn.😁

Signore Nuvolari, what's eating you? Out of nowhere, you just dump everything that bothers you and every single argument right into my lap. What "Neighbor"? He's a troll. Jelenić??? hahaha - seriously - you actually think Alonso is to blame for this situation.😛

The series really was beautiful. Unfortunately, people turned cars into absolute eyesores, especially back home in the States.

^^

And she rolled out of the factory looking absolutely flawless—nothing about her needed touching. One of those rare newer Opels that I actually have a soft spot for.

But finding one in pristine, stock condition? You'd be better off winning a million on a lottery ticket.🤦 I honestly can't wrap my head around why they were such a magnet for all those total idiots.

Newer Opels? Come on, it’s practically a classic. Production really kicked off around 1989 style, Ale, nearly thirty years ago.

There are a few stock ones on Autoscout if you just bother to look and have the cash.

Well, I guess I was thinking about those solid old Opels from the seventies and eighties; those are relatively recent compared to what I mean.

edit: and the brand new ones? They're honestly pathetic, God help you if you have to drive one.😁

Back in the day, an auto club magazine used to have this dedicated restoration column—and I remember one guy from Zagorec working on one just like this, finished in that exact same ochre shade 🙏

That same fellow restored a Kadett GSi too, and now he's moved on to restoring a Beetle and a Fiat 500.

It’s honestly wild how small the world is—you run into someone you actually know.

It just isn't quite there without a bare rear spoiler and tinted windows. 👍

In that case, I'd recommend a Mattig—they’re easily one of the better Opel tuners out there. 👍

By the way, has anyone actually seen the movie *Manta Manta*? Why on earth did Klaus make it like this—does anyone actually speak German?

Are we talking about those idiots who tried to turn a Calibra into a Testarossa or a 512tr?

A true masterpiece.🤦
