This forum has been around for a few years, but ever since the migrant crisis, it’s basically morphed into a political mouthpiece for leftist ideas and worldviews. It’s pretty obvious they’ve picked a side.
It isn't really a space for sharing different perspectives anymore; instead, it’s become a place where only one specific viewpoint is allowed to surface, while everything else just gets smothered or censored.
And I’m not even talking about Mr. Oštrić here—his emotional attachment to Tito and the Partisans is a minor issue compared to the real problems plaguing this forum.

Look, I already told Mr. Oštrić that I'm not some big Germanophile. I just think it’s smarter to lean into a Germanic version of our heritage since so many of our people work over in Germany—it just helps them get accepted better as a minority there. If they were all working in the Czech Republic, maybe we'd push the Slavic angle instead!

Good grief... 🤦 😁 This is how an ignorant person who would happily rewrite History reasons.

The way you use your "teaching" style is nothing short of an abuse of power.
All you’re doing is creating a wasteland of content, slapping shackles on everything just so you can force the whole thing into a tiny little box that fits your own narrow worldview.

Reddit isn't some playground for the selfish or the arrogant.
Anything goes, sure, but there have to be limits.

Stop philosophizing pointlessly; you are just a guy caught falsifying quotes and making up terms, and your scribblings regarding History are mostly worthless, useless garbage. Instead of feeling ashamed and staying quiet, you stubbornly persist here, desperately hunting for some kind of "truth"...

That’s the reality—this Reddit has become quite heavily ideologically positioned.

Meh. I mean, there was certainly a time when this place felt much more firmly left-leaning, though perhaps it was just because we had smarter moderators back then, rather than dealing with these current guys who seem to have ten half-finished degrees and nothing but a career in activism under their belts.😁

At the end of the day, it probably doesn't even matter, because I guess nobody really cares about this community anymore; half the threads feel like the Wild West, while the other half are basically dead.

You're right about that.
I still remember some of those old moderators 🤣

But yeah, you can definitely see the drop in quality in certain areas.😁

Caught?!
What are you, some prison warden or something?!
Why the hell is your attitude so condescending and dismissive?

Instead of actually taking criticism and getting your act together, instead of not acting like
you're some big shot—you just resort to threats and insults, acting like this Reddit thread started with you or is going to end with you.

You aren't cut out to be a moderator.
You’ve turned the PDF version of History into your own personal fan fiction.
It’s totally unacceptable.

And let's be real, most people on this forum—and I hope the admins realize this too—understand that you’re doing way more harm than good, Mr. Oštrić...

Stop playing the victim. You aren't some persecuted soul; you are the one actively forging quotes and rewriting history.

You’re acting with such an inflated sense of self-importance, throwing around threats and insults as if this Reddit thread started with you, or as if you’re somehow destined to be the one who brings it all to a close.

You're the one who's been spamming posts for several entries now just because History is getting bent out of shape by my refusal to stick to a rigid script—my tendency to interpret events, facts, and terminology with a bit more freedom and flexibility than you'd like. 😁

You simply aren't cut out for a moderator role.

You’ve taken an entire PDF of historical facts and twisted them into your own little fantasy novel.

This is simply unacceptable.

And honestly, I think most people on this Reddit—and I truly hope the administrators agree—realize that by being Mr. Oštrić, you’re actually doing far more harm than good.

... hm, at this point, I honestly can't tell if you’re addressing me or Mr. Oštrić. Look, just take a breath and try to frame your thoughts more coherently. In the meantime, I’ll be busy filing a request with Corporate for a mental health stipend to compensate for the sheer exhaustion of having to deal with you...

@ Arthur Smith15

Look, I already laid out my whole take in the posts above.
I’m not looking to get into some pointless tug-of-war over nothing.

You’re basically confirming that you've got Mr. Oštrić's back.
Hey, that's your call. Totally fine.

My point is—and I’m trying to redirect the focus here—that PDF History thread is a complete mess where the whole point of this forum just went out the window.

And for the record, I didn't fake anything; I cited every single source I used.
I reserve the right to look at History through a different lens than the "official" version—you know, the one that was partially cooked up under all that mandated censorship.

You use the info however you want and however you think is right.
So, just let me do the same.
Anyone who keeps questioning History isn't doing it for some selfish agenda.

Falsifying quotes and planting invented terminology isn't "interpreting history from a different perspective" or "questioning the status quo"—it is blatant lying and charlatanism. The "purpose of this forum" is certainly not to serve as a playground for your nonsense.

Look, I judge based on the facts I gather, what I learn through experience, what I compare, and what I dig up while chasing a topic—and yeah, once I'm deep into a subject that actually interests me, that's where my own interpretation comes in.
It's an individual, subjective act. Period.

So, basically, I use my own eyes to judge when historical facts are being bypassed, ignored, or irrationally blown out of proportion.

Do you get it now, my dear friend Arthur Smith15?!

🤦 You are the kind of guy who fakes quotes and plants made-up terminology, and no amount of pseudo-philosophical rambling you try to pull will change that. It is truly incredible how you have no shame, stubbornly persisting in this pathetic display of intellectual posturing...

Nope.
I wasn't faking any quotes. If I cited a source, then yeah, I gave my own take on it.
I'm not making up terms out of thin air; I'm just interpreting them based on official names.
The terms and concepts haven't "lost" their meaning—they've actually gained more depth.
What I’m trying to get through to you is that the chronicle of History isn't some straight line... History is a jagged curve. It swings wildly to extremes and then swings right back.

All in all, I’ve laid out my opinions and answers in other threads before they got locked and wiped... Though, truth be told, I didn't always get the chance because Mr. Oštrić nuked them.

Look, I’m telling you that it’s worth trying to interpret historical events through your own lens.
That’s the only way to guarantee a decent debate.
You gotta investigate, not just blindly accept everything you read.

In that sense, Reddit is the best place for this stuff.
But, Mr. Oštrić has basically banned that.
And you’re totally fine with it.
Fine, whatever..
Just let me have my own opinion, just like I let everyone else have theirs, so we can actually have a real discussion..

You should be ashamed of yourself for lying like this...

(...) Look, just let me have my opinion, just as I allow everyone else to have theirs, so let the debate live and breathe.

Faking quotes and planting fabricated terminology isn't "having an opinion"—it's just shameless lying and making things up.

Just cut it out already; you're becoming as tedious as a broken record.

I'm not lying..
Read carefully.
Try to actually understand what I'm saying. I'm trying to explain this to you patiently, and all you do is use inappropriate language.
That’s not how things work on this Reddit. Get a grip..

I'm totally with that speaker—a historian's job isn't to play judge and jury. I actually started a whole separate thread just to dive into stuff like this. Methods and criteria in History (Natural Science).I've said this a million times already. When you're writing History, sure, you can throw in an opinion, but a historian's first job is hunting down facts and how they actually connect. Too many amateurs—and honestly, even some pros—just dive straight into preaching, getting worked up or acting like people were saints, instead of just describing how things actually went down."How it actually happened" — Leopold Ranke).

You can only really pass judgment when you start linking what happened back then to how things are standing today.

Seems like way too many historians spend their lives trying to play judge with History—what a waste of time. The past is dead and gone; you can't rewrite it. But, if we actually try to see things for what they really were and interpret them on their own terms? That might actually teach us something useful for the future.

I’m not buying what the next guy is selling. Claiming Yugoslavia had to collapse just because people stopped identifying as Yugoslav is total nonsense—look at the UK, they're still standing despite all the regional friction. Historians really need to chill with those "it was inevitable" takes; life isn't that black and white.
