A buddy of mine works as a merchant mariner and he’s currently out in Asia
I’ve been trying to get a 1.5 GB video over to him, but I tried using some of those free web hosting sites and it turns out the crew on his ship won't let him access those kinds of portals at all. Does anyone know if there's a workaround to get this to him? Maybe via email using some kind of specialized software that handles huge file transfers, or honestly, just anything else that might work

Maybe Google Drive or OneDrive?

Maybe we could try uploading everything to Google Drive if they end up allowing that kind of thing

Google Drive or maybe Telegram if you're already using that thing.

Everything I’ve laid out in this post applies to you just as much as anyone else!
Honestly—whatever device you happen to be holding right now—just go ahead and install Send Anywhere... you really can't go wrong there; it is quite possibly the single best tool out there for swapping massive files without the headache
. If you're feeling a bit lost, just hop onto YouTube—there are endless tutorials explaining exactly how Send Anywhere works
