3D Animation Tips & Techniques

What’s the go-to software for 3D animation—specifically for text first, then everything else? Also need to be able to layer in a background image, ideally before I get too deep into it.
The goal is to have smooth movement, zooming, and all that stuff with the 3D model.
Budget isn't an issue.🙂

If we're talking about pure performance, then Adobe is an absolute powerhouse. Sure, it carries a commercial price tag, but when you actually need to tackle complex 3D text effects, it is legitimately top-tier 👍

I think I need something a bit more beefy—I'm looking for a zoom feature where I can pull an object toward the camera along a custom path.
I'm not seeing those options in Xara 😢

Autodesk Maya... honestly, the real question is just how much actual expertise you bring to the table, because animation isn't some breezy little hobby; it’s rarely easy, and frankly, it’s almost never simple. It demands an exhausting amount of time and sheer grit, and then, as if that weren't enough, you still have to contend with the nightmare of rendering and a thousand other headaches.
