I’ve recently started taking oral contraceptives, and my doctor suggested I supplement with a B-complex vitamin to stay balanced. I picked up some Plibex from Plivin, but looking through the instructions—which feel a bit sparse, if I'm being honest—there isn't any clear guidance on how long you can actually stay on it. I've tried doing a little digging online, but the information out there is incredibly conflicting...
For instance, I came across one source claiming you should only take Plibex for a maximum of two months before taking a month-long break, yet I’ve seen other people online mentioning they’ve been taking it continuously for an entire year without any issues at all...

Is anyone else here using Plibex? If so, do you happen to know what the recommended duration for use is?

So, what's even the point of popping a B-complex? I mean, why did they even suggest it to you in the first place?
Everything depends on that—the reason you're taking it basically dictates how long you’ll be stuck swallowing those pills.

Look, I’ve never heard anyone claim that Vitamin B kills your appetite.😁 But the link between it and skin issues? Yeah, that's pretty much common knowledge. Listen, if you're dealing with this—and I don't care if a dermatologist, your GP, or even an OB-GYN sent you down this path—just start taking it. Stick with it until you actually see some improvement in your symptoms. It's not like you're supposed to be on this stuff for the rest of your life, but you can't just pop a couple of pills and call it a day either. This kind of thing takes time... we're talking weeks, maybe even months before things settle down.

I think I misspoke earlier. 😁 What I really meant is that my appetite has taken a hit lately, and I need to find a way to get it back up because I’ve been losing weight steadily.
My OB-GYN actually suggested a few months back that I might benefit from taking some Vitamin B, but honestly, I just kept forgetting to pick it up at the drugstore... Now that this dermatitis is flaring up again and my appetite is acting wonky, I figured I might as well give it a shot. I don't have much to lose by trying, right?

Thanks for the input, mistyhound2 🙂

I’ve been popping these because I can't seem to get rid of these constant mouth ulcers—you know, those annoying little sores that just won't quit. Honestly, they’ve been a total lifesaver for me. Plus, most doctors say it’s a smart move to take them whenever you're feeling super stressed out or if your diet is pretty much trash and lacking the right vitamins.

I took a two-month break because I was dealing with constant sores on my tongue and the inside of my mouth, but I eventually stopped since I wasn't even sure if it was doing anything. How long does it actually take for mucosal inflammation to clear up, and can Plibex actually provide a permanent fix for these membrane issues?

I was wondering if it’s actually okay to take this in doses of 2-2-2—you know, three times a day with two tablets each time—similar to how some people go about taking their Krkin B-komplex

Plibex contains very small amounts of Vitamin B per dose, which is precisely why the instructions recommend taking it multiple times throughout the day.
Furthermore, it isn't intended to be a permanent fix for mucosal issues; rather, it should be taken in specific cycles whenever a clinical indication arises.

I couldn't agree more. Even though I had one doctor tell me something totally different, if you ask me, Plibex (just like Krkin B-komplex) is easily the best stuff on the market. The vitamin balance is spot on. Every time I tried those heavy-duty doses from other brands, I ended up breaking out in hives... total nightmare.

What’s the best way to dose up on Plibex if I'm trying to kick those brutal PMS symptoms to the curb?
Is just one pill a day enough, or should I be looking at taking it more frequently?
Also—and this is a big one—how many months can you actually stay on this stuff safely?
If anyone here has some real-world experience or knows the ropes, could you walk me through how to actually use Plibex to manage really heavy PMS?
Thanks a bunch!

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure about its effectiveness against PMS—even if you nail the dosage, which would be 2 tablets, 3 times a day, according to the label.🤔

You could always give it a shot for a few months. For instance, maybe start taking it about 5 days before you expect your PMS to kick in and keep going for roughly 2 weeks, then take a 2-week break.
After running through 4 or 5 cycles like that, you'll have a pretty good idea if it’s actually doing anything for you.

Fair enough, thanks for the suggestion—we'll give it a whirl...
just following the logic that bumping up Vitamin B intake might help ease some of those monthly cycle symptoms!

Can someone let me know here, or maybe just shoot me a DM, how much Plibex is going for these days? Thanks.
