His performance is pure madness... and his crew? Even more unhinged...

He’s an actor who excels at specific types of roles but struggles to break out of them. It's a tough spot for any performer, but after Stardust, maybe things will finally start looking up.

If he keeps playing the same old character in comedies, I honestly don't mind one bit.

It’s like you’ve got two different versions of Al Pacino playing the exact same guy.

He’s an absolute legend to me! Honestly, I can watch his stuff anytime... I especially loved him playing the villain in Fan. He just nails it—whether he's doing heavy dramas, comedies, or intense thrillers, he's always top-tier.

There are certainly some solid performances in there, but it feels like he’s increasingly typecast into these similar roles lately.

Personally, what I liked least about his performance in The Untouchable Brando was how he played it; honestly, I think he would have been the perfect choice for the role of Al Capone.

Maybe he isn't a bad actor, but his roles always feel kind of the same.
I don't mean he just plays an Italian American one minute and then some "English" guy the next, or flips between being the hero and the villain,
it's more that every single time he's playing this intense, strong-willed character with a massive attitude—and let's be real, he's always incredibly sexy...

As we've already touched upon earlier in this thread (on pages 1 and 2), his performance in the 1990 film Awakenings is a massive departure from his usual type. He likely has a few other outliers like that, though I can't say for certain. I haven't studied his entire filmography.

Exactly. Honestly, my favorite movie of his was Hide and Seek—if he was actually in that one, I can't quite remember.
