Deep Impact.

Armageddon is just straight-up unwatchable—the premise is totally idiotic and the humor is just so childish.

But there’s this one hilarious scene where Steve Buscemi just loses it over that bomb, yelling "NO NUCS, NO NUCS" 😁

I honestly don't know—I haven't sat down to watch it in probably ten years. Maybe I'd find it entertaining now, kind of like how I felt about The Happening...

I actually feel the opposite; I think Deep Impact is alright, but Armageddon is better because it doesn't take itself too seriously and is easy to watch. To me, Deep Impact always felt a bit too heavy, but I guess it's all down to personal taste.

That part gets me every single time—always a little tear in my eye. 🍿

Honestly, it’s easily Bayev's best work—just two and a half hours of pure, mindless fun. 😁 The highlight isn't even just the movie itself, but that gorgeous Criterion release. 😵

🤣 It’s almost enough to make you laugh—that typical, over-the-top American "we're-saving-the-world" kind of pathetic sentimentality.

Maybe some Bulgarian studios should try making a movie like that; then you'd get to sit through all that over-the-top Bulgarian melodrama, Jesus...

🤦 Honestly, Americans have plenty of much better movies than Armageddon—and they come with way less cheesy sentimentality, jeez.

but honestly, when it comes to disaster movies, nothing beats The Day After (1983)

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of that one. In my opinion, the biggest disappointment was Steve Gutenberg, who just isn't my cup of tea... the only redeeming quality was the production design.
