I’m telling you, greasy and processed junk is what triggers those redness flares and peeling episodes... try eating clean... chicken, grains, fruit, veggies—stay away from burgers and stuff like that... maybe then things will actually improve.

Hi
My boyfriend was struggling with dermatitis.
He found a simple solution that actually worked.
Send me a private message if anyone wants the specifics; I can explain what happened.

Honestly, whether it’s the middle of July or a freezing January, my nose is constantly peeling, which drives me absolutely insane—especially when I try to put on foundation only to have my nose look like a flaky disaster zone. I’ve tried basically every cream under the sun, even those fancy boutique concoctions you find in high-end boutiques in New York, but nothing worked. On top of that, my skin has always been bone-dry, prone to patches, and I’ve dealt with psoriasis too... just an absolute nightmare all around. No creams, no clinical treatments, none of that nonsense actually did anything for me until I stumbled upon this one really interesting and seriously effective natural remedy. I'm talking about cold-pressed, unrefined sunflower oil. I drink it, I rub it all over my face and body, and I even use it as a hair treatment—I let it sit for about thirty minutes to an hour before I wash my hair, and man, it leaves my hair so soft and shiny. The thing is, since it's 100% natural, it actually fixed everything I just mentioned. I won't ramble on forever, but you can find the full instructions on how to use it and one killer method over at so check it out yourselves. It worked wonders for me, and I don't have that flaky red nose or the psoriasis anymore. Good luck 🙂

So, my sister has been dealing with this persistent issue where her cheeks just flush bright red. It usually happens when she’s hanging out somewhere really hot or right after she does any kind of physical activity. The redness typically dies down after about 30 minutes, but honestly, it’s pretty embarrassing for her when she's out in public...
I was wondering if this specific cream might help alleviate the situation at all
Also, does anyone know how much this stuff actually costs? I can't seem to find a price listed anywhere.

That cream should run you about $15... I actually asked a friend who uses it, though you can always find prices online too. She said it helped her a little bit...

Can anyone just walk into any local pharmacy and pick up this cream? I'm planning on sending my sister over to grab it since she's only 17—not quite an adult yet by legal standards.

Does anyone happen to know? The nearest drugstore is quite a trek from where I live.

Look, a cream is just basic skincare, okay? You don't need some fancy prescription, you don't need a doctor's note, and you definitely don't have to be an adult to buy it. But seriously...
don't go expecting some kind of miracle cure. It’s just moisturizer.

For a few years now, I’ve been dealing with this weird thing where random breakouts or red patches just pop up on my face out of nowhere.
Every time I spot one, my first thought is always, "Eh, it's probably nothing."
Most often, the redness shows up right after I shower when I’m getting ready to head out. For a while, I actually convinced myself it was just nerves—you know, that sudden flush you get when you're anxious about making a good impression on someone.
...It’s also happened when I’ve been genuinely stressed, like during an argument, but since it doesn't happen every single time things get heated, I'm starting to think that might just be a coincidence.
As for my theory about insect bites, I'm having my doubts. If bugs were the culprit, why would the redness and bumps only show up on my face and chest instead of all over my body? Plus, there have been a couple of times where I felt a sharp stinging sensation right as a bump started forming, yet I didn't see or hear a single bug nearby.
I’m honestly at a loss here.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

Could be rosacea. Go see a dermatologist next time it flares up so they can take a look.

For years now, I've been dealing with this weird redness around my mouth and chin. Every single year, as soon as it starts getting chilly in the fall, my "autumn allergies" kick in. I haven't really figured out what's actually going on, but it shows up as these red, flaky patches... almost like eczema. I'm honestly at a loss for what to put on it or why it always happens this time of year.😕

The thing is, these spots only hang around for a few hours. I have the worst luck—if I actually managed to book an appointment and show up at the clinic, the redness would be gone and I’d have nothing to show for it. :S

Hmm, doesn't look like rosacea to me. Looks more like an allergy situation. If it only lasts a few hours, just snap a high-res photo with a real camera—not some grainy phone shot—and take those pictures to a dermatologist. Could totally be a reaction to something you ate. Looks like hives to me, maybe cholinergic hives, which usually flare up when you're working out or getting stressed out. Either way, definitely go see a dermatologist.

Well, wiredcanyon2 beat me to it. I was just about to mention that the description sounds like urticaria, possibly triggered by physical factors. I agree with everything said here. 👍

Seborrheic dermatitis should be considered as well.

For quite some time now, I’ve been dealing with this recurring redness and peeling skin on my face—mostly concentrated right around my nose. At first, I was convinced it was an internal issue, maybe some kind of toxicity or my liver just being sluggish, so I decided to go on a massive detox. I haven't touched alcohol in ages, I haven't had a cup of coffee in over a year, I've been loading up on fruits and veggies, and I've completely cut out greasy fast food... and yet, nothing. It hasn't improved one bit. The same symptoms just keep popping up everywhere. I have noticed that these flare-ups seem to happen most often when I wash my hair right before bed (or maybe it's just my imagination). Is it actually possible that I'm having an allergic reaction to my shampoo, or perhaps to the detergent or fabric softener I use on my sheets and towels? What should I do? Has anyone else dealt with anything similar?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Look, you aren't going to get a diagnosis or any kind of treatment plan from this place. 🤷 It could be seborrheic dermatitis, some other type of skin inflammation, or honestly, who knows? That’s exactly why you need to see an actual dermatologist.

Well, I don't know... I'm actually planning on heading in for an exam soon, but I was just curious if anyone else here has gone through something similar? I'd love to hear how everything turned out for you all!...

How things turned out really depends on the diagnosis. Until you actually know what you're dealing with, comparing experiences is pretty much pointless.

Yeah, I’ve been scouring the forums and digging through Google, so I already know there isn't some magic silver bullet out there...

So, for a few months now, my face has been acting up—redness, itching, skin peeling right between my nose and eyes. It comes in waves, too. One day everything seems fine, then the next, it's just this angry, red, itchy mess. My dermatologist basically told me it's just how my skin is built and there's no real "cure," though they did prescribe this cream with an antifungal base... which honestly just made things ten times worse. It feels like my skin reacts to pretty much any cream I try; truthfully, things are usually better when I don't put anything on it at all. Even physical activity, sweating, or just being in the heat triggers it... it's exhausting. I'm planning to head back to the doctor, but they're away on vacation right now, so if anyone here has dealt with this and has some advice for the interim... I'm all ears.

thanks!
