Hands down, the absolute best movie ever made from a comic book... or at least one of the top three—but man, is it exceptional.

Eliza Hutton and his Mother supported director Alex Proyas ' decision to complete The Crow. At the time of Lee's death, only eight days were left before completion of the movie. A majority of the film had already been completed with Lee and only a few scenes remained to be done. To complete the film, stunt double Chad Stahelski, who was a friend of Lee's at Inosanto Academy, served as a stand-in; special effects were used to give him Lee's face. Another stunt double named Jeff Cadiente was also used to complete the movie.
The Crow was released in May 1994 and became a box Office hit, grossing over $50 million dollars in the U.S., and retaining a loyal cult following many years after its release. The film is dedicated to Lee and Hutton.

He was killed during the final stages of production, but specifically during the scene that serves as the film's opening—the murder itself. However, because that specific footage was destroyed, you don't actually see the real killing in the finished film.
It was that Funboy character who did him in, the guy with the long blond hair...
As for the movie itself: it's an absolute cult classic, just fantastic. Even today, I get chills watching it. The soundtrack is incredible. And then, of course, there's Brandon Lee, who ended up being the ultimate goth king among kings (and I'm not even much of a goth fan 😁 ).
And that cameo by Jovic? I mean, where else do you find that? How cool is that? 😬
