Total psycho!

Tony Manero🤣 Honestly, he’s easily the coolest guy in the whole movie. I still can't wrap my head around how they even managed to greenlight a sequel to this thing. And don't even get me started on that title, "Stay Alive." Seriously? If someone filmed something like that today, people wouldn't be trying to stay alive—they'd be praying for a quick exit just to end the misery. Plus, having the director play a guy who acts like a total tough guy version of Rambo or Rocky? Ah... John Doe!!!

He isn't anything special to me—honestly, you can find stereotypical killers like him everywhere you look. Go find someone actually creative.😉

What would John Doe from Seven think?
"Listening to People isn't as easy as it used to be—you can't just give them a little nudge or a tap on the shoulder. Sometimes, you have to swing a sledgehammer at them just to realize you finally have their undivided attention."

I'm not saying they're a villain, but they are definitely sick... 🙂
p.s. Patrick Bateman is also basically a double personality... a total double yuppie... 😛

Look, Patrick Bateman is in a league of his own—I'd even go as far as calling him an anti-hero. Like I've said before, he's easily one of the most compelling characters ever put on film. 🙏 🙏 🙏
As for Trevor Reznik, I never really viewed him as a villain. It's a matter of dissociative identity—even when he was doing some truly terrible things, it wasn't coming from a place of conscious malice.

That’s just not right. He knows exactly what he's doing—it's just that he isn't entirely sure *why* he's doing it. 😉 I'm not sure if you've actually sat down with the book, but if you haven't, you really should. 🙏 🙏

Well, when you look at Roman Polanski's films—take The Tenant, for instance—compared to Lynch's massive filmography, it's honestly tough to pick just one.
One of the most disturbing movies out there has to be Eraserhead. I've heard a rumor that back in his early days, Lynch used to pin bees and other insects to his walls with thumbtacks.😁

I guess I'm a pretty weak reader then.
p.s.
why did he only realize at the end that it was all in his head?
Oh man, buddy—you've completely misinterpreted the ending of the movie/story. It wasn't some hallucination. Everything he did was "for real"—it’s just that he finally realized he wasn't going to face any consequences for his actions.

I’ll give it one more look, but I’m pretty sure I caught how it ended. If I’m reading between the lines, you actually finished the book... that might be enough to sway 😳
p.s. just spoil it already, damn ☕

Does it always have to be the lunatics? Can we just pick some decent guys for once? If that's the case, a few names come to mind:
Jimmy Barka (Dragan Nikolić, When I'm Dead and Gone)
Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper, Blue Velvet) …Alright, alright, he is definitely a sicko.
Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read (Eric Bana, Chopper)
Someone already mentioned Tyler Durden…
Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson, The Shining)... Yeah, okay, he’s not exactly my favorite type...
I'll think of a few more…

Patrick Bateman - Christian Bale plays him in American Psycho, definitely the best psycho out there (at least in my book)
