I honestly think the Mayo Clinic on Thorn could probably burn through every single one of your work methods onto a CD if they wanted to. I don't think the one out by Lake Tahoe would be able to handle it, though.

Trauma Draškovićeva—they put the MRI scans on a CD. Jordanovacka Hospital puts their X-rays on a CD too. The Knicks don't bother with CDs at all. I can't speak for the other hospitals, but honestly, those three should be enough for me to work with for now. 🙂

The Knicks also provide digital copies on a CD; I recall picking up some CT scans recently, and they handed me everything in a neatly organized envelope containing both the printed report and the disc itself.

Is there any way I can actually open this CD with my medical results at home? When I put the disc in my computer, it just tells me it's empty. Is there some kind of program I should be using?🙂

, you illiterate bunch.

Anyway, on topic—you can get that done at any decent photo lab.

RENDGEN
A Rendgen (symbol: R) is a unit of measurement outside the SI system, representing the amount of X-ray or gamma radiation required to produce one electrostatic unit... blah, blah, blah

In this case, you're clearly the illiterate one here.

Your CD isn't empty. Your reader is just junk.
The title of your CD is... CODONICS It’s triggered by LaunchPad.exe via an Autorun.inf file that contains all this specific data.
Autorun
LAUNCHPAD.EXE IS RUNNING.

Then, the system opens a "DICOM" folder for you. Inside, you'll find various subfolders containing all your images, depending on exactly how many you have. Simple enough, right?
Either buy a second reader or just pop that disc into another computer. It isn't exactly rocket science, is it?
Reviewing these images is a massive step up from standard shots. Why settle for the usual when you can have this?

Excuse me, I have some X-ray images from a Shimadzu machine saved on a CD.
I can get them to launch using the Autorun feature, but I don't actually have any software installed to view them properly—which is a bit of a headache.

When I browse the CD, I see the files (they take up quite a few megabytes), so they are definitely image files. However, they don't have any extensions—nothing like a .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .tiff.

Does anyone know how I might open these using a standard program instead of relying on the Autorun from the disc?

I managed to get it done using an online converter, though I can't be entirely sure if it messed with the quality too much.
