Sundance Film Festival 2007 (and related stuff)

I’d honestly rather have gone to see The Simpsons instead of that movie—one review pretty much tore it apart, and frankly, I’ve never been a huge fan of Italian culture or the language, if I'm being honest. If I’m actually going to sit through a theater experience, it’ll probably be another seven years from now. 😬
It’s a shame that Tuskanac isn't open then.

Honestly, check out that Japanese film today; it smells like something actually worth watching. 🙂

The theaters are a total desert right now, too. It's just The Simpsons and la vie en Rose (biographical about Edith Piaf) playing.

Whenever I'm away from Washington, D.C., I find myself missing the local scene—though I should be back tomorrow evening. I was actually planning on catching a screening at the histrion. 🙂(As for this one, since it’s Japanese, I’d much rather see it. A few months back, there was a series of those films by that one director; they were decent enough, honestly. It's just a shame they scheduled this Japanese filmmaker for the wrong day

The Japanese film 😉 wasn't exactly a home run, to be honest. 😢
And the guy promoting tomorrow's screening was really hyping it up, calling it one of those standout feel-good movies from Sundance.

So, I caught it yesterday. It’s good, I guess, but maybe not quite on the level of all that praise from Mirkovićev.

The acting was actually pretty great, but the ending felt kind of rushed and unfinished.
