Alright, look—when I was just a little kid, maybe five years old, I took a nasty fall off my bed and slammed my neck. It caused a blood clot and some nerve damage, which ended up paralyzing the right side of my body—arm and leg included—for about three or four days. The lasting fallout from that is that my right leg is noticeably thinner than my left; basically, the muscle development just isn't there. Honestly, it’s frustrating to look in the mirror and see that discrepancy. I’m currently going through physical therapy to try and rebuild some strength in that right leg, but I need some honest input here. Please, just tell me straight: do you guys notice it? Would you think I look odd or... I don't know, "off" in some way? Thanks in advance.

You’d honestly think you had your leg in a cast😉

Nah, definitely not

but hey, if it really bugs you that much, maybe just admit you're being a bit of a chauvinist! 😬
Most people actually have one leg that's a couple of centimeters thicker than the other, depending on whether they're righty or lefty.

Look, let’s be clear—the people who actually know me (and trust me, they do, even if they don't admit it)—know perfectly well that I haven't spent my life walking around with a leg in a cast, nor am I some meathead chauvinist—I mean, seriously, do I look like a bodybuilder or some varsity athlete to you?!

Nobody’s built perfectly symmetrical; some people just have imbalances that are more obvious than others
There are plenty of other athletes out there who ended up a bit lopsided because their specific sport forced one side to work harder—they're still perfectly healthy, just asymmetrical
Since we can't actually see your legs through a screen, we're all just guessing how noticeable it really is
Personally, I wouldn't give it a second thought; I wouldn't care if I saw a duck at a local pond with a little quirk like that

Maybe check in with your physical therapist to see how you can strengthen those weaker muscles? They could put together a custom workout plan just for you!

Like I already mentioned—and I’m sticking to this—I am heading off to my physical therapy sessions. I'm actually following the exact routine my therapist laid out for me; honestly, I might even snap a photo or two just to show you what we're talking about.
