What kind of movie would you guys love to see made?

I was watching it last night, and my favorite part is definitely when they dive into the lore about the original Dracula—that first vampire who’s been around for over 5,000 years. You see a similar vibe in > 1 and 2, specifically during those segments detailing the ancient war between the lycans and the vampires centuries ago. Those bits of mythology are always my favorite parts of these movies. It honestly makes me wonder why we haven't seen a serious vampire film set in a historical period where there isn't constant gunfire or kung fu showdowns... it seems like every modern flick has to be some frantic mashup of fast cars and heavy artillery. I remember hearing some whispers about a potential movie based on the > game, but nothing has ever materialized.

I'm with you on this one.

Blade Trilogy—total disaster. Honestly, what a waste of money for that movie.
Blade 1—it was alright.
Blade 2—meh, I guess? Not great, but whatever.
The series actually had a solid start and showed some real promise, but you know how it goes... things that start strong usually end up crashing and burning.

It’s a solid horror flick; I can only imagine how much more atmospheric it would feel if it were filmed somewhere in the American Midwest, perhaps drawing inspiration from some old Appalachian folk tale or something along those lines.

Well... if it’s any consolation, Paul W. S. Anderson 😁 is actually filming an adaptation of Castlevania this year (over in Canada), which focuses specifically on the Belmont family fighting against Dracula. I’m assuming they'll set the story in the 19th century or even earlier. We don't have all the specifics yet, but I expect more details to surface soon.

Raw passion here. No ego-driven lead actor hogging 70% of the screen time; just a pure focus on the erotic tension.
Between Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba... it’s a solid story, though maybe not deep enough to keep certain themes front and center. 😉

I'm actually liking the sound of this already. 😁I've been looking for a scene just like the one in Bram Stoker's Dracula where Vlad Tepes is wearing that red armor; hopefully, this movie delivers something along those lines.

A film like that would be great to see... or perhaps something involving warring clans of werewolves and vampires in some completely imagined world and era...😁

Instead of what happened in SS2, they should have brought in those young heavy hitters specifically for the chemistry, letting Sharonica manipulate them all to achieve her goals while walking away scot-free. Instead, they just relegated her to various sex scenes. 👎

Honestly, I thought part one was a mess... and maybe I finally figured out why. According to Bill Hicks’ whole revelation bit... they cut all those intense lesbian scenes because the test audiences found them absolutely revolting. So, they just filled the gaps with mindless dialogue and that irritating Michael Douglas character.

I mean, what do you expect when they head to San Francisco to test a movie about lesbian passion? 😬

Personally, I think it would be killer if they just made a movie about Dracula as a historical figure—like, a real gritty drama without all the fantasy nonsense, the silly vampires, the werewolves, and all that other crap.

I would love nothing more than to see Martin Scorsese direct a top-tier thriller and reunite with Robert De Niro, especially if he rounded out the cast with Al Pacino, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Just leave Leonardo DiCaprio out of it, please! 😁

I would love to see a film adaptation based on either Zagora or Alan Ford. My ideal scenario would be a major US production or perhaps an Italian one, provided they have a massive budget—enough to actually make it look decent. I’d also want a solid cast; not necessarily A-listers, but actors who don't deliver those wooden, amateur performances we sometimes see locally.

I’d love to see a movie adaptation of William Gibson’s Neuromancer. As long as they have a solid script, a decent budget, and don't try to play games with the audience...

I also wouldn't mind seeing an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle. Since they seem to put out a project based on his work every year, it actually feels doable. It wouldn't even need to be a massive blockbuster; they'd just need to find the right director...
