Dealing with low blood pressure?

I’m dealing with this too. Seriously low blood pressure. I haven't found a fix yet, other than just wearing gloves around the house... though that doesn't even really help my circulation. My mom suggested trying the warm and cold water soak trick on my hands. It hasn't done anything for me 😢

Cold hands are just a sign you're craving intimacy 😳

😁

Find someone to warm them up. That’s my approach. 😢 😁

Yes. 😢

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it back up? 😁

So, how do you actually raise it? 😁

For a lot of people, blood pressure just creeps up as they get older. Dealing with hypertension is such a massive headache that I’m not sure it’s even wise to start taking medication just to push those numbers back up.

If you're dealing with cold hands and feet, though, things like intense workouts, alternating between hot and cold showers, hitting the sauna followed by a cold plunge, or even just getting a massage can really help.

..I’m dealing with the exact same issue.. no matter what the weather is like, my hands and feet are always freezing..
..My blood pressure isn't low either; every time they check it at my doctor's appointments, the reading comes back normal.

It is certainly not advisable to raise your blood pressure, as those with lower pressure tend to live much longer...
they say people with cold hands are better in bed, so you could always try that approach 😁
regular exercise will stimulate peripheral circulation, especially when paired with good hygiene—like daily showers... it's quite an effective remedy

My blood pressure is totally fine, but I’m dealing with anemia... could that be why my hands and feet are constantly shaking?

It is possible that mild hypoxemia occurs during anemia, causing blood to be redirected toward target tissues...
If your doctor prescribes iron therapy, I suggest requesting Vitamin C and B-complex supplements alongside the iron tablets
Once the treatment is complete, you should have your levels checked using standard tests: a CBC, iron, transferrin, TIBC, and a full lipid panel including LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol

Wait, what? Is this actually some real thing people believe, or is it just one of those old wives' tales floating around?😕

It is truly terrible, and I suffer from the exact same thing😢...
I am quite uncertain,
perhaps you could try dressing more warmly when you are at home instead of pretending it is springtime (as I often do🙄),
if smoking is indeed the underlying cause,
and nothing seems to help me either... so I really have nothing more to offer🤷

Ugh, I am dealing with the exact same thing, especially after I’ve been sitting around for way too long.
I honestly feel like my circulation is just trashed—and if I’m being totally real, I’d say my blood pressure is all over the place.
Plus, I’m basically anemic as hell... I’m actually kind of terrified to go get my levels checked because I already know they're going to be dirt low.
I get that it’s probably down to me not moving enough, and I don't necessarily mean hitting the gym or anything crazy, just... moving.
Is it even possible for your heart to start racing just because your blood pressure is trying to spike?

Yeah, well... cold hands... mine are practically ice cubes almost all the time. It isn't my blood pressure, though—that’s actually on the high side. I've just dealt with anemia my entire life, so that’s likely the culprit (just like crimsonbison6 mentioned)
So, you're saying if I take iron alongside vitamin C and a B-complex, it might actually help keep my iron levels steady for longer? Because, honestly, I am beyond exhausted with having to choke down iron pills every few months...

My hands and feet are constantly freezing. Even with the heat cranked up at home, it doesn't do a thing. Sometimes I try to fix it with thick socks, but it's a losing battle. I've heard it’s a sign of poor circulation, which is weird because my blood pressure is perfectly fine.🤷

Well... if you wear anything too tight, it might actually cut off your circulation.😢...
When I have warm hands... it’s a total celebration at home.😁

hey 🙂 I’m dealing with the exact same thing... my hands are constantly freezing. Everyone gives me the same old advice—just stay warm 24/7 😂 ... I honestly have no clue how to fix it. People suggested washing my hands more often, and sure, if I do daily exercises, it helps for a bit. But as soon as I sit down to watch TV or start studying, I'm right back to square one. Nothing works. The only "solution" people suggest is getting lucky 😁
