Best skate films?

Hey there...

I'm on the hunt for some skate films...

I recently revisited the classic Trashin.... now, I'm looking for that movie "jump over Ivica." I can't recall the actual title—everyone used to translate these things differently back in the day—so I'm hoping someone here remembers the original name...

Searching IMDb didn't really get me anywhere... 😢

Does "Back to the Future" count? You know, that part from the second one where McFly is tearing it up on that radioactive, ultra-supersonic hoverboard, leaving Biff Tannen's crew in the dust. That chase sequence was pure gold. 🙂

That whole frantic rush could have worked just as well in the previous version using those old-school skateboards...

I tracked down a movie called Over The edge : BoardsX, but I can't remember if it's actually the one. There's no mention of skating in the description for jump over Ivica...

Nah, that movie you found on IMDb isn't actually about skating. There is one title, though, "Over The edge : BoardsX" from 2003, which is all about skaters and extreme sports, but it’s more like a documentary-style adventure with a killer soundtrack rather than a scripted film.ovdje I dug up some info on it for you.

I guess I didn't provide enough detail...

The movie is from the 80s. I watched it on VHS back in the day—late 80s or early 90s. I distinctly remember there being skateboards involved, some kind of chase scene, and kids hanging out behind trucks...

Some kind of skateboarding hero... or maybe just a few of them... that's how he was back then...
