Can someone walk me through how quoting works?..you know, the kind I mean

And how do I upload images?

I'm on my phone right now, not at my desk...

Give me the full breakdown though, because I'm totally lost...

Every post has a Quote button, and clicking it will automatically quote that specific post.

As for images, you can't just upload them directly like you would on more modern sites. You have to create an account on a third-party hosting site, like Imgur, and then paste the image link here. It’s such a hassle that I've stopped posting images altogether, and I don't plan on starting again until this forum gets an upgrade (which basically means never 😁).

I honestly don't get what the deal is here. Why isn't the image showing up? I did everything exactly like I always do. Not sure if I need to tweak something in the URL or whatever

I have no idea, I just keep getting a 403 error every time I click the link.

Thanks for checking on that for me. Seems like the link is acting wonky since it works for me, it just won't actually show the photo. Whatever, no biggie, found it somewhere else. 🙂

Just download it, upload it right here, and then share the link from both places.
