I am still chewing on that one even today. To be perfectly honest, my stomach occasionally feels absolutely torn apart because of it, so I make it an absolute necessity to take vitamin C alongside it. You should definitely consult your doctor if you have any doubts about that

Are you taking it on a full stomach?

To be honest, I don't always find our doctors to be the most reliable sources here—it seems like at least half of them will just prescribe some inorganic iron supplement without a second thought. You should ask him if he actually knows the difference between Ferrum and those other brands, or how the absorption process for organic iron even works, if he can even explain that.

They give instructions all the time telling people to take it on an empty stomach, which is just completely wrong.

Sometimes even doctors need to take a quick look at the actual drug manual and brush up on their pharmacology.

It was quite a spectacle—he would trigger metal detectors at airports constantly, and I even heard that dentists couldn't drill through his teeth because they had become completely metallized, eventually starting to show signs of rust... absolutely terrifying!
That man actually had to undergo an expensive deferrumization procedure, which required him to travel all the way to India, where they repurpose that extracted iron for manufacturing precision components in high-end machinery, like luxury watches and similar devices.

🙂 🤣

Noah Myers8 said:Oh, come on, don't talk nonsense. You absolutely need Vitamin C for the body to absorb iron properly; honestly, it doesn't matter to the universe whether your anemia is mild or severe... And besides, constipation is actually one of the side effects you get from *not* taking enough iron.

I’d love to hear some doctor try to tell me I'm wrong about that...

If that were strictly true, why is iron often prescribed all by itself in most of these medical cases? It feels a little unlikely that every single doctor out there is making the same mistake... 🙄
I personally took mine without any Vitamin C at all, and my blood work improved significantly. Iron can still be absorbed without those extra supplements; it's just that the absorption process is a bit more efficient when you pair it with Vitamin C...

My apologies, Richard Hall74—I may have gotten a bit carried away with the topic. Of course, most people are generally correct... I’ve taken it myself, and frankly, any improvement was merely temporary. It wasn't until I overhauled my diet to include more iron-rich foods that I saw lasting results. The truth? It temporarily stains your teeth and, well, your stool—but if you keep those two things separate, there shouldn't be any "fatal" consequences.🤣>

How long did it take for your hemoglobin and hematocrit levels to actually budge, and by how much? I just had my blood drawn after three weeks of taking these tablets twice a day (morning and night), and the shift is practically nonexistent. My HGB was at 104, and now it’s sitting at 107. I'm honestly starting to panic a little here.

I plan on sticking with them for at least three months before we can truly evaluate the results...
