For my part, I found the movie quite decent—rather sentimental and soft, if you will; it actually resonated quite deeply with my own hormonal fluctuations last week. 😬It’s a sweet little thing, really, though my husband managed to drift off during his second viewing, which wasn't exactly a catastrophe. 😁
And honestly, those outfit combinations Andrea wore after her makeover? Absolutely divine... just mouth-watering.

It never really tells you what’s in store for her; the ending felt totally unfinished to me. Honestly, I still can't stand these kinds of movies. They're infuriating.

Meryl played her like a total witch. She’d cheer her on during the little stuff and even when she was stuck in Miami during a hurricane, expecting this woman to somehow come pick her up. She'd offer her coffee and steak dinners—which she'd obviously reject—but the woman never once said thank you. Just that irritating "that's all." Honestly, it's just awful.

I honestly don't think I've ever encountered a cast with such a staggering lack of charisma—unless, of course, you count Meryl. And then there’s the sheer density of non-linear nonsense being shoved down our throats as if it were high art.

Well, Andrea did find another job, but this whole situation was something she tried to fight against with everything she had—you know, dealing with all those threats and pressure. If I remember correctly, she managed to land the new role thanks to a journalist she opened up to about her experiences. She actually spent a few months out of work and ended up moving back in with her parents after breaking up with her boyfriend, though they actually stayed together in the movie version.

I honestly forgot what the movie was even about. To be fair, I spent the whole time just judging the outfits, most of which were pretty terrible. 😢The book is a total mess.

Just watched the movie. It was alright. Honestly, it’s a perfectly fine watch, but don't expect it to stay on your mind for very long once the credits roll.

What’s even funny about workplace bullying??

Trust me, at the theater where I saw it, people practically lit up the second Streep popped up on screen. You could see everyone cracking a smile. The crowd was basically anything from teenagers to women in their fifties out with their husbands. And everyone was just totally captivated by Miranda. Probably because people just love watching someone else's life go sideways (you know, Andrea and all that office harassment).

So, I checked it out yesterday, and the theater was packed.

The movie is alright—good for relaxing, a bit silly. I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be quite good, I guess.

The issue is that I like to analyze every movie, but I was with someone who doesn't really care to discuss them or experience them the same way, so it was a bit difficult.👎

Halfway through, two girls nearby were arguing about whether the assistant should cheat on her boyfriend with the editor's aide or not.😁 Personally, I don't mind, since the cast is full of attractive actors.🙂

Anyway, Prada is starting now, so I'm going to watch that without any more talk.🙏

I just finished reading the book and then sat down to watch the movie, and honestly, both were absolutely wonderful experiences. It was such an entertaining ride, and I have to say, I found the second assistant to Miranda to be a total legend in the film version.

The movie isn't actually that bad, provided you don't take it too seriously.
It’s perfect for grabbing an afternoon latte with your best friend, gossiping about those "high fashion elites," and inevitably concluding the whole thing with a "well, denim is timeless" kind of vibe.

So... I wouldn't call it the worst thing I've ever seen, but it certainly isn't the best comedy out there either.
I've definitely sat through much better movies than this one.
It’s probably just something you throw on when you're desperately looking for a way to kill some time.😁

Streep remains a master of her craft, as she always is. Honestly, I felt a sense of nausea once the credits rolled.

This happens to be one of my absolute favorite films, and I’ve actually started working my way through the book series now, which is quite a commitment since there are so many sequels to get through... it's interesting how much further the story goes when you have the pages in front of you. 🎉

I suppose I find myself wondering what everyone is saying about it...
