The entire American version of The Ring. Just hearing the name Samara gives me chills.😱I couldn't even look at that ending in the well, and when she finally crawled out of the TV, I had to cover my eyes. What was I thinking? Total chicken 😬

Honestly, Samara is just the same deal... total nightmare fuel, those girls crawling out of the TV just to freak everyone out... seriously, who actually wants to see that? They could've given us all a heart attack

Well, I’ve been scrolling through the responses here, and frankly—it looks like most of you haven't actually sat down to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose. If films like The Exorcist or The Omen are already pushing your limits, then honestly, I wouldn't suggest giving this one a shot.

Look, kid—that movie isn't actually that scary. Besides, we all have our own specific triggers, right? We're all different when it comes to what creeps us out—whether it's in real life, or just through a strip of film in a theater.

Truth is, just like with Evil Dead II—some people find it hilarious while others are terrified. Personally, I don't find anything involving The Exorcist particularly scary; they just feel unconvincing to me. 👎
The Thing is the ultimate horror. The claustrophobia, that creeping paranoia where you can't trust anyone because you aren't even sure they're still human, the tension, and then all that gore and those twists...

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is a decent film, but I wouldn't categorize it strictly as horror. It is certainly Atmospheric, but it isn't truly scary per se (though, I recall some of my college classmates being genuinely shaken after watching it, so as always, it remains entirely subjective).

We literally sadly dedicated an entire thread just to Emily Rose, and man, my sides were absolutely killing me from laughing so hard

... during the sixth reel ... I was at AMC Theatres, and the whole vibe was just so tense, with that really intriguing musical score ... then all of a sudden, you see this green alien just walking down a city street... he just popped into the frame out of nowhere ... it was terrifying ... I honestly jumped in my seat. brrrrrrr ....

Honestly, I mostly just lose my mind at AMC Theatres when the sound design goes overboard. Like, if there’s some massive thundering noise—maybe a cavalry charge or something equally intense—I start shaking. It’s not even just me, either; the whole theater feels it because the subwoofers are just way too brutal.🙏 🙏
