Just hit up Imgur, toss your photo up there, and grab the forum code they give you right under the image. Copy-paste that straight here and you're golden. I tried using that weird yellow button thing, but it totally bombed on me. 🤷

Man, so many questions and endless explanations. I honestly don't have the patience to wade through all this. I don't get why it’s even set up this way when there are a million simpler ways to do it. Like, is it really that hard to just add a button to position a photo? That would solve the whole thing instantly. This whole process feels unnecessarily complicated and, honestly, pretty outdated.
If you're putting together a post about a pet, the text should actually flow with the picture. I tried doing that the normal way while working on a post about my British Shorthair, but it just wouldn't work. I tried clicking
Insert image
.
And what did I get out of it? Absolutely nothing.
I'm just wondering if there's a way to fix this so things stay simple, or if we're stuck with this clunky, over-engineered mess forever?

Look, uploading an image is actually pretty straightforward—if you're having trouble figuring it out, that's really on you.
The Insert image button () works exactly the way it's supposed to.

Look, I already told you, I tried doing it the normal way. I click the Image icon, paste the link to the picture, and... nothing. Zilch. What's the deal? If you actually want to help me out, maybe walk me through the steps first, since you keep insisting "it's easy."

I’m guessing you’re using the Insert image () tool. When that little pop-up window appears showing http://, you actually have to clear that out before you paste your own image link. I noticed you were trying to use http://http//nonzen.com/images/200901/BrunoDayan02.jpg (look closely at the start—you've got http:// in there twice) instead of just http://nonzen.com/images/200901/BrunoDayan02.jpg
Basically:

And then you get:

The instructions have been posted a million times all over this forum. Most likely, you're just linking to a webpage or some Google search result instead of the actual image file itself. Give it another shot right here in this thread; if it still fails, then we can actually walk you through it.
