How do I upload images and videos to the forum?

Lately, I can't get my pictures to show up on the forum the usual way. I try going over to Imgur to grab the link, but it just isn't working.
Is anyone else dealing with this? What gives?
Every time I try, my reply just shows up totally blank.

Now I have to download the image to my PC, upload it again through Imgur, and then hope it works. It’s such a massive pain when I'm just trying to post a quick photo from a website!

Any tips? Help!

Look, that isn't actually a direct link to the image—it’s just a Google search result. If you look over in the top right corner, there’s a link labeled View full size that you really ought to be using instead...

Can anyone lend me a hand here? I am having absolutely zero luck getting an image to upload. I honestly can't tell if I'm just missing something obvious or if there's a glitch somewhere.
