Greetings. I have attempted to use several different hosting services, including TinyPic, Postimage, and Imgur, yet I encounter the same frustrating issue every single time. Even after uploading my images and embedding the direct links into my forum posts, nothing more than the raw URL actually appears; the image itself fails to render within the thread. Does anyone happen to know what might be causing this technical hiccup? Much appreciated!

Just click that "insert image" icon—it looks like a little picture right above where you start typing your post. Once that window pops up, just paste your link in there and hit "OK."

I am planning to head over to the other subforum to upload these photos, but I can't find an option to insert an image anywhere. On top of that, you can only edit a post for a few hours before it's locked; after that, it's just impossible. Honestly, I don't think I've ever encountered a platform more frustrating than this vBulletin setup, especially when there are so many better alternatives out there.

I'm not entirely sure which specific board you're talking about, but from what I've heard, some sections don't allow photo uploads at all—whether that's by design or just a glitch, I couldn't tell you. You'd probably have to check with the moderators of that particular section.
As for the editing restrictions, there is a limited window during which you're allowed to modify a post, and frankly, I find that perfectly reasonable; if you write a post and a massive debate breaks out, you shouldn't be able to swoop back in the next day and completely rewrite your original argument to suit the new direction of the conversation. 😁

Imgur isn't letting me download an image from my PC, which is a real headache because I need it to enter this verification code. Every time I try, the window just stays blank—I can't even type the answer because the letters won't show up, so the upload just fails completely.
