I’ve been sleeping with earplugs for two years now and honestly, I just can't function without them anymore. Those cheap foam ones aren't much good to me since they harden up way too fast, and I think I've gone through a literal truckload of them by now. There’s a pharmacy over in the Middle that carries some wax ones; they feel a little weird because they warm up inside your ear, so I have to pop them out like a plug in the morning, but they work wonders. Even if they shift around a bit during the night, you just squeeze them back into place, and you get a whole pack for a pretty decent price. As for sleep masks, thank God I don't use one, but I think I saw some at the Cosmo perfume shop... Good luck! Cheers to the motto: Let's improve our quality of life!!!

I just picked up an eye mask from Cosmo! It is honestly amazing being able to sleep in total darkness no matter how much light is coming through the windows. Thanks, Ann!

I'm bringing this thread back to life because I’m curious—does anyone know where I can pick up a good sleep mask? I checked the aisles at Cosm, but they didn't have anything

I'm also veeeeery curious about where you can pick up that mask. I was picturing it made out of some soft, comfy fabric, not some rubbery thing filled with gel or whatever... someone please let us know if they have this in NYC...

But honestly, I'm also sweating that point 😕 😉
Gregory Smith8 was making.

as for me, I have... and it's fantastic 👍
but the vibration from my phone just drives me crazy... it's not like I need to wake up at some specific hour or anything, but honestly, if someone calls me, it's just too much. 😍

...honestly, I've been using earplugs for years too, currently using the foam ones; though silicone might be better, maybe they block out more noise:/

but even those don't help much since I live in such a loud part of the city, cars honking constantly, it’s just brutal 🙂 👎

I tried sleeping over at my grandma's where it's dead quiet; but it seems like I can't catch any sleep anywhere else anymore; so, whatever, I guess anything is better than nothing

I also have that Snoopy sleep mask from H&M😉), but it has its flaws—it doesn't block out enough light + it's a bit too tight;
so for a while now, you guys are gonna laugh—I've just been sleeping with black underwear over my head 😬 😍

because honestly, I don't know what else to do, and everything just bothers me when I'm trying to sleep

So I swung by Cosmo in Downtown today—they actually had their grand opening right now—and popped inside. Ended up seeing some masks and grabbed two, just so I’ve a spare while the other one is in the wash.

The label on our local packaging says "cotton mask," but once I cracked it open, the tag clearly states 100% polyester. 👎 Seriously? I mean, I'll give it a shot, but I really hope this doesn't wreck my skin. 😕

I'm already drafting an email to the Better Business Bureau and the consumer protection agency. 😛

Walter Smith8, how much are they charging for masks over at Samsonite?

The one I saw at Cosmo feels just a little bit budget...

I spotted some masks over at Walmart for about $5.25, but I don't know, they seemed a bit oversized to me; then again, a friend of mine uses this one from Cosmo and swears it’s incredibly soft and comfortable...

Ugh, I bought one of those ages ago—honestly, I have no clue. I don't even know where that package ended up anymore 🤔. Pretty sure it was just some synthetic fiber stuff too.

I actually slept with one of those Cosmo masks last night, and hey, it wasn't half bad 😎.

This one doesn't even have an official label, and the material inside feels almost like cotton. The only weird thing is where the strap meets the mask—it's a bit thick on one side, so it pinches a little.

Walter Smith8, thanks so much!!

Have you been hitting the cotton aisle at Walmart a little too hard lately?

I picked up an eye mask from Accessorize and it’s actually pretty great, even if it was around $20-but I'm not exactly feeling any regret about 🙂

I paid about $23 for mine, but that was out of town... I have no clue what they charge here.

There’s this huge pharmacy right on the corner of Martic and Smiciklas—it's basically across from the Toyota dealership. It feels more like a medical supply store because they carry all sorts of health gadgets. They actually have these eye masks that aren't just for sleeping, but for relaxation too; apparently, they have magnets built in or something. My mom picked one up and she’s pretty happy with it. I think I might switch over to that kind of mask once I finally wear out the one I got from H&M🤣The only difference is it won't cost you like two bucks like the one at H&M; it'll probably be closer to $10 if my memory serves me right... so if you don't mind spending a little extra, go for it.👍
And I'm pretty sure they'll have those earplugs there, too.
Hey, if you end up buying one, let me know how the mask works out for you!

As for those items over at Walmart, I'm thinking they might be made of cotton, though I can't say for certain... they were sitting on the side shelves in the cosmetics section, right next to all that other stuff like makeup brushes and things like that. I didn't actually spot them out in the main plaza area, just downtown... though maybe they have them at the plaza too, I suppose...
