Is there any truth to the idea that eating raw potatoes will make you feel like you’ve got the flu or cause you to break out in a sweat? I heard this from a buddy of mine recently. Is it actually dangerous to try, and what kind of side effects am I looking at here?

😁

I've heard you end up running a massive fever from it... though, honestly, that sounds more like the horror stories my parents used to tell me about growing up during the Great Depression 😁😁😁

Wouldn't it be just a little bit easier to just fake being sick rather than actually breaking your back over those potatoes?

Look, I’m actually pretty decent at acting, too—but when you're feeling real pain, it just looks more authentic, doesn't it?😁 It makes it way easier to pull a fast one on people.😁

So, has anyone actually given Odvas a shot yet?

I think I’ll pass on that one... it doesn't really appeal to me much at all...😁
Why don't you give it a shot yourself and then let us know how it goes and what symptoms you end up feeling 😬 We might just end up having our very own reality show on our hands 😂

LOL, I’ll give it a shot tomorrow. If you don't hear from me, just assume Adam Palmer2 has finally kicked the bucket.

Adam Palmer2, if you really think you're some kind of big shot, you’re going to end up looking like a total joke 🙂

Seriously, just stop trying to act tough before you end up making a fool of yourself... 😉

I heard you can end up with diarrhea and a fever if the meat's raw.

Raw potatoes equal temperature. I suppose. It’s probably better to just play along than to mess around with it.

What do you guys think—could this actually lead to some serious fallout or something along those lines?

Adam Palmer2, if you actually think you're some kind of "tiger," you're going to end up looking like a total joke.

Seriously, why don't you stop playing pretend before you make yourself look even more pathetic?

HAHAHA, honestly, someone should probably test that theory out just to see. 😬

What are you even trying to act out?
Just call the doctor, tell them over the phone that everything hurts, mention you're smoking, and say you'll swing by once you're feeling slightly better. Tell them you need them to sign off on some sick leave.
If you're actually trying to pull a fast one on the elderly, give it a shot and let us know how it goes.😍

Sure, you might get a fever from eating raw potatoes, but don't go playing games with it—you could seriously wreck yourself.

I’m going to start by testing out a smaller segment first; if I don't see any actual results within about three hours, then we can all just admit this whole thing was nothing more than a fairy tale.

My sister and I tried that back in our school days (definitely wouldn't recommend it now). The fever doesn't hit you instantly—it took us a few days to actually feel sick... so just be ready for that delay.

My sister and I actually tried that back when we were kids—though, honestly, I wouldn't dream of doing it in school nowadays. The fever doesn't hit you instantly, either; it took us a few days to really feel it... so you definitely have to be prepared for that!

hahaha😁 Just out of curiosity, how many did you guys end up taking roughly? And did you deal with any other side effects or anything like that?

Adam Palmer2 said:haha😁—roughly how much did you guys end up taking? And more importantly, did it actually leave you feeling any different, or was it all for nothing?

I actually sat down once with every intention of seeing this through, but it tasted so utterly revolting that I couldn't even manage to finish a quarter of it!

I can't recall the exact amount, but I'm pretty sure the two of us polished off half of it😬
and honestly, it wasn't nearly as gross as you'd expect🙂

I once tried eating two raw Russet potatoes, and honestly, I felt fine at first, except for this overwhelming sense that I had just consumed the absolute worst thing on the planet 🙂. My stomach turned right after, but it passed pretty quick... honestly, it's better to just fake being sick than to go experimenting with raw potatoes 🤮
