Allergic reaction to Omexium baby wipes?

So, I think I might be dealing with an allergy to Down fabric softener... has anyone else ever run into stuff like this?

I’ve been there. Last year, I was dealing with this insane red rash all over my arms, legs, and chest. Turns out, while I was stuck in the hospital, my mom went overboard with the fabric softener on all my clothes. It didn't clear up until I rewashed everything using just my regular dose of 🙂

Look, just stop using Downy fabric softener. 😉 Grab something designed for sensitive skin or baby products instead. Run an extra rinse cycle on your laundry too. Honestly? I don't even notice a difference in softness since I quit using softener altogether.👍

Well, it seems to me that almost all fabric softeners share more or less the exact same chemical makeup—isn't that just fascinating? I mean, if you take a moment to actually scrutinize the labels on every single bottle I've examined, they all seem to list various preservatives. Does anyone out there happen to know of a softener that doesn't include them? Any leads would be wonderful! Thank you!

I think there’s a preservative-free option you can find on Amazon—it’s called Denk Mit, if I recall correctly—and it comes in white packaging. They specifically market it for people with allergies, so it might be worth double-checking the label just to be safe.
