Does anyone happen to know—if there’s anyone here who has actually sat through it—whether this movie is strictly for kids, or if it leans more towards that adult-friendly vibe like Shrek? I'm trying to gauge if it's something I can watch with the family without it being too childish, or if it's one of those films meant for grown-ups. Has anyone seen it yet?

I’m inclined to believe that the original version holds more weight than the dubbed one—don't you think? There is just something about the raw, unpolished essence of the original audio that gets lost in translation, even when the voice acting is decent. It feels... less authentic, if that makes sense.

Anyway, the actual title is "Hoodwinked"—which, if you think about it, actually makes sense... 🤔 😁

I just watched the trailer, and it actually looks pretty solid 👍

It’s got that whole detective vibe—you've got a wolf who isn't actually the bad guy, a Little Red Riding Hood who is definitely not as innocent as she seems, and then all these other animals thrown into the mix 😁

So, it’s a bit of both, really.

It’s a great movie. Really funny. You definitely have to watch the original version though—some of the characters are hilarious specifically because of the voice acting... I don't think it's quite for kids, either. They might miss some of the jokes. Anyway, it's a blast...

The characters are great—each one brings something unique to the table—and the story hits all the right notes by the end. The soundtrack is solid, too.

The critic is clueless and totally off base. Honestly, even Ice Age is a masterpiece compared to this. Little Red Riding Hood is an absolute disaster and a complete waste of time. Don't bother heading to the theater and throwing away $10 on this nonsense. Just wait until it hits streaming or Blu-ray; it’s much cheaper, and you can always just turn it off after five minutes of pure boredom..

I honestly can't believe it... I mean, really, you have to laugh at critics like that—they’re always such a joke, if you ask me.

Take that one part, for instance—where that tree falls right between the turtles, and one of them yells "run," and then they all just start bolting away. 🤣

See, I actually went to see it just because of that teaser, and honestly? It was a total letdown. That one bit was the only funny thing about the whole movie. 🙂
Seriously though, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your money at the theater just for that animation...

It’s fine if you just need something to kill some time, but honestly, it doesn't exactly blow any doors down.
There are definitely some clever moments and funny characters sprinkled in, and the animation holds its own, but it just didn't hit me with that same punch as the heavy hitters we've seen lately—stuff like Shrek or Ice Age.

In my estimation, the film was quite acceptable; it moved along at such a brisk pace that I found myself entirely engaged, and it certainly didn't suffer from any tedious stretches.

I mean, it probably won't top Shrek, but it's definitely in that same ballpark—it's pretty decent and fun, I actually really liked it 😁
And yeah, you should definitely watch it with the original voices, because I'm honestly terrified of what a dubbed goat might sound like 🤔

Look, it isn't quite on the level of > or >, despite what you all might say—but it's decent enough, honestly. It holds its own, and there are some genuinely good scenes in there.

As > pointed out 😁, the goat is absolutely unhinged 🙏; I can't recall seeing anything quite that absurdly funny in recent memory.

I recently revisited this film. It remains a truly remarkable achievement in animation.

it's on ABC right now... animation looks pretty rough at first glance, honestly feels kind of mid to me
