Apparently, Atkinson is working on a new Blackadder set in the 60s—but I actually stumbled upon some info about this American project over on IMDb. I’ll have to dig around a bit more to track down the exact link...

It sort of reminds me of that old story about filming three... apparently they wanted to make it back in the early 90s, but some producer wasn't really feeling the idea of having a movie full of Greeks without a single American in the cast...🤣

Dudes, Americans are always dreaming up all sorts of wild schemes and massive plans. Fortunately—or maybe unfortunately, depending on how you look at it—only about 5% of those ideas ever actually make it out into the world, or more accurately, stumble their way into the darkness of a movie theater.

It was clearly conceived as a sitcom rather than a feature film—but regardless, I sincerely hope it never actually happens...

Look, I’ve honestly never seen someone post such absolute nonsense on IMDb before. It’s almost a relief to know nobody actually thought this was a troll post.

My biggest fear is that some producer might actually stumble upon this and think, "Hey, that’s a brilliant idea—let's greenlight it."

Just watched it, and honestly? It’s a pretty depressing watch. Especially since it’s Peter Sellers—the whole thing leaves you feeling kind of conflicted, mostly because it tries to frame his entire career in such a wide lens. There's also one glaring issue: can this even work as a standalone movie if you don't already care about Sellers? Or how much interest could someone actually find in it if they aren't a fan? It was nice to revisit those legendary scenes, but it gets awkward when only a couple of people in the theater are laughing while everyone else is just 😕... and yeah, even Sellers barely survived being part of a Kubrick production... :-)...
