FINALLY - a double victory...!

McLaren has finally cemented their absolute dominance on the track with a stunning 1-2 finish!

It looks like Montoya is finally starting to settle in and find his rhythm—and he drove Kimi quite nicely, too. It feels as though the guys have finally loosened up and found their flow, likely because the pressure is off now that they've secured the win.

In any case, I’ve been waiting a long time for this moment... huge congratulations to all the McLaren fans out there!!!!

We’re currently sitting in first place by just two points... honestly, if our physical condition holds up and stays solid, that title should be ours. 👍

It’s just one of those things... since we already missed out on the main prize, we might as well take everything else on offer. We’ve got the fastest, most beautiful car on the grid, the Constructors' Championship is basically in the bag, and we could easily sweep up second and third overall too.

But tell me—does the Constructors' champion actually get to sport the number 1 on their nose next season?

If they say they do, I'm inclined to believe them...

Besides, that’s really the charm of being a McLaren fan—it hurts so much that when they finally pull it off, the relief is actually overwhelming. Take the Ferrari fans, for instance; they've been through so much heartbreak that they can't even feel joy when they win anymore... they only know how to feel the sting of losing.

We’re all sharing some congratulations around here today, so I wanted to jump in and offer my own congrats to the McLaren crew for that 1-2 finish—their first genuine 1-2 of the season!
I was secretly hoping my favorites would be the ones to pull it off first, but I suppose that early 1-3 result we saw was actually the peak of the season after all.

Question for all the McLaren fans out there: Would you trade that double win for that absolute disaster of a collision between Montoya and Alonso when the SC was pulling off the track?

McLaren put in a hell of a fight, even if they ended up coming up short.
They could have done better, if you ask me.
