Does anyone else ever feel like their heart just skips a beat or starts fluttering out of nowhere? It’s like this totally random sensation where it pounds two or three times, much harder than usual, without any actual reason behind it...😕
I went to see my doctor and they told me everything looks fine—my blood pressure is good, my thyroid is fine, all of that. But then the lab results came back showing a low white blood cell count... I’m honestly starting to get a little scared because I’ve never heard of anyone experiencing this kind of sudden fluttering in their chest... Has this ever happened to anyone else here? What could possibly be causing this...😕
Goodness gracious, it feels like these doctors don't have a clue what's actually going on😢

hmm
well, if you don't hear from me for more than ten days, just assume I've been completely wiped out by a massive wave of stress at work😁
is there actually anyone out there who would even miss me...😁

Your eyelid is twitching. Your heart is racing.

Stress?

Love? Is it merely a biological defense mechanism triggered by pheromone intoxication and an aesthetic overdose? I would suggest therapy consisting of a hug from a qualified professional. 😁 😛

Seriousness, if all your medical test results come back normal, then there truly is no cause for concern. I deal with constant PVC bigeminy myself, yet my cardiologist assures me I’ll live to be at least 100, provided my heart remains stable. 🙂 Has this been a lifelong occurrence, or is it something you've noticed only recently? If the condition is chronic, it might stem from a benign anomaly in the tissue conductivity. However, for an acute, short-term episode, the most frequent culprit is often an electrolyte imbalance.

Seriousness, if all your medical tests are coming back clear, then there really isn't any reason to worry. Personally, I deal with constant PVC bigeminy, but my cardiologist swears I'll live to be at least a hundred, at least as far as my heart is concerned. 🙂 Has this been happening forever, or is it just a recent thing? If it's chronic, it might just be some benign anomaly in the tissue conductivity. For something acute and short-term, though, the most common culprit is usually an electrolyte imbalance.

Well, not actually all the results are fine... my white blood cell count is low...
man, a hug from a professional sounds great. I honestly think Edward Green would be the one most willing to give me a hug...😁
and since you can't quite picture me, neither physically nor otherwise, you can just let your imagination run wild...😁

Within just a couple of days, you're opening two different threads. One's about dizziness and the other's about heart palpitations. Are you even considering stress as a possible trigger, or are you just hunting for some terminal disease? 😁

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the whole stress thing, but honestly, I’ve dealt with all sorts of different physical symptoms my entire life... if every single one of my medical tests had come back perfectly normal, I’d probably just chalk it all up to stress, but this low white blood cell count... it makes everything feel so much more unstable...
I mean, normally you’d just take a B6 supplement once a day, but my doctor actually prescribed it three times daily, which is just...
It’s actually scaring me a little bit, and I don't even know how to put it into words...
I’m just sitting here waiting and hoping that it doesn't turn out to be anything serious...
Then again, maybe I'm just letting my own anxiety get the better of me...
I really don't know...🙄

It’s happened to me a few times as well... That sudden sensation where my heart starts pounding so hard I feel like it might actually burst out of my chest... You can practically see it thumping against your ribs from the outside. And mind you, I’m perfectly healthy; I don't have any underlying heart conditions whatsoever.

I’ve realized it usually kicks in if I’ve experienced a sudden shock, some intense physical exertion, or even just a sharp, sudden movement...
In those moments, I just force myself to stop, try to take slow, steady breaths, and eventually, everything settles back to normal...

Honestly, that's just how it goes—I’ve had all the checkups done, and everything comes back perfect; I'm as fit as an athlete.

Findings like these only ever seem to pose a problem for women. 😛

It seems you’ve had the physical checkup out of the way, but perhaps it is time to examine the mind. This could be pointing toward anxiety—though, of course, only a mental health professional can give you a definitive answer...👋

😛 😁

The real issue isn't getting a clean bill of health; it's the fact that they can't actually tell you what's wrong with you. And honestly, that's hardly an isolated case. People deal with chronic issues all the time, only to have some doctor run a basic blood panel or some other trivial test and declare everything perfectly fine—which is really just medical shorthand for "it's all in your head."

boldeagle3 said:It seems like you've spent a lot of time checking out your physical symptoms, but now it might be time to take a closer look at what's going on mentally, which points toward some anxiety, though obviously, only a licensed therapist or psychiatrist can give you a real diagnosis...👋

Are you seriously trying to tell me I'm just a hypochondriac or that I've completely lost my mind?
Give me a break...

How certain are you about making a claim like that?🙄

Give me a break...

...wake up in denial...

Honestly, that's just narrow-minded.
You have a psychological battle raging in your head 24/7, yet you dismiss it all as mere "craziness" and try to look the other way 🙂

Honestly, it could be hyperthyroidism... you really need to get your thyroid levels checked out. It might even be some other hormonal imbalance or an anxiety disorder... or, look, it could just be emotional, too. I mean, if you can link that heart racing feeling to a specific person or some stressful situation in your life, there's your answer.😉

or maybe I’m just losing my mind here😁
honestly, I’m having such a hard time following your train of thought... could you maybe walk me through what you meant in a bit more detail so I can actually wrap my head around it?

It’s a hormonal mess... seriously, having your thyroid overproduce hormones can cause symptoms that look almost identical to what you're dealing with... that's why I told you to get to a doctor and demand a full hormonal panel to check everything out...👍 only after you've cleared that should you even think about seeing a psychiatrist.😉 😁

I honestly don't follow you at all; could you perhaps elaborate on what you mean by that?

What she's getting at is that anxiety, stress, and those other mental struggles that can trigger heart palpitations don't suddenly make someone "crazy"... 🙄

I mean, you usually take B6 once a day, but my doctor prescribed it three times a day, you know.

Did your doctor even tell you what could be causing those low white blood cells?

And what the hell is B6?
