To be honest, I wasn't expecting much—I actually didn't care for The Royal Tenenbaums at all despite that incredible cast, and even Rushmore missed the mark for me—but for some reason I can't quite put my finger on, I absolutely loved this one.
Maybe it was because of Bill Murray (who is easily one of my favorites), or perhaps it was the rest of the cast (Willem Dafoe stands out above the rest), or maybe just the vibrant cinematography, that quirky sense of humor, or the soundtrack choice... honestly, who knows? Either way, I've already watched it a couple of times and I’d happily dive back in again.
