Honestly, I feel like Argentina is just one of those teams that’s constantly punching above its weight, and this squad they brought to the Olympics? They're young, sure, but it's basically the same group that just got their asses kicked by Brazil in a penalty shootout during the Copa America. But look, if they keep playing with this kind of grit, once you mix in someone like Tevez or a couple of seasoned veterans to steady the ship, I truly believe it’s finally their turn to actually hoist a trophy again. It's about time, really.

In my view, the European teams are quite subpar. England is likely the strongest in Europe, followed by Italy. The rest are mediocre when compared to Brazil, whom you absolutely have to beat to win the World Cup. To be blunt, I believe Brazil is the absolute favorite because Europe lacks quality right now, whereas Brazil possesses an incredibly talented generation (Kaká, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Adriano—it doesn't get better than that). Argentina isn't any better than Italy or England. In my opinion, those four nations are the only legitimate title contenders, alongside two potential dark horses: Germany and Cameroon.
