People are always bringing up James Bond and who is that guy Pev as probably the best films from the old US era over the last twenty years. As far as I know, you can't really pick up the DVD versions easily here, but there might be a way around that... 😁 USA Today actually announced they’re releasing a series of DVDs "to celebrate 35 years of Woody Allen's creative work." On December 5th, you could grab the Who Is That Guy Pev DVD along with the newspaper for about 3 bucks, then on the 12th comes the North American spy, followed by Henry III on the 19th. Then on the 26th, we get Marathon Runner, and finally, on January 9th, Assembly Point. If you have anyone back home—this is an opportunity you really shouldn't pass up...
By the way, another newspaper has already released, or is planning to release, Lightning, Professional, How Rock and Roll Was Ruined, Zamfir Zone, Audition...

Good for you

But seriously, is there any way to actually get my hands on one here in the States?

I've got "Who is that guy Pev" on DivX, but I think James Bond and who is that guy might have it on DVD at some local video rental shop.

Don't start chatting...
I'm not here to debate topics; I'm here for the movie and the film itself.

Or maybe it's playing on those TV stations in the Midwest where the signal bleeds right over into the US.

So, James Bond and who is that guy is "disgusting" to you? Look, maybe they're poking around in your world of homosexuality now, but honestly? I don't think you were born this way—seems more like you became a homo because of some bad childhood vibes or something. Because, let's be real, nobody with a normal brain could hate James Bond and who is that guy.

In your case, being gay isn't an identity, it's just a symptom. You probably need a lobotomy—even if it doesn't turn you straight. It's not even about whether you'd stop being gay... it's just that you definitely need a lobotomy.

😬🤣

Those movies are absolute masterpieces; I’d give anything to have a collection like that sitting on my shelf at home.
Hey, gay man, could you actually elaborate on what exactly you find so disgusting about this? 🙂

After hearing arguments like that, what else is there to do besides just agree with you?

The only thing that's actually disgusting here is your taste in movies... and pretty much everything else, too... 😬

That gay man hasn't seen a damn thing in his life😁

Just leave these movies alone😠
Why don't you just fire up your digital satellite and watch whatever LGBTQ+ TV you want? But as for this...🙂 don't even bother touching it.

These films are essential reading🙏

die Pantelija come on
Come on now....

🙏 🙏 🙏

Man, I need to pick up those DVDs immediately
I have all of it on my Divx, but most of it is just stuff ripped from old VHS tapes

...unless they're just renting bootlegs... In the US, you won't find that spy, the marathon runner, "Who Is That Guy Pev," or "How Rock 'n' Roll Died" on DVD. You can find Lightning, Professional, and Zamfir Zone though...

It’s pretty unlikely they’re pirates, because a buddy of mine actually rented this straight from a video rental store.

Who even mentioned gay people here?
Why are you fighting these imaginary crusades in this thread...?

With this post, you've told me way more about yourself than you ever did about me.
😉 😁

So, in your case, being gay is a sickness, or rather, a consequence. You need a lobotomy. Even if it doesn't turn you straight. It doesn't matter whether you stop being gay. The point is, you need a lobotomy.

Best of luck to you in the New Year.

Brilliant movies. Honestly, it would be great to have a collection like that at home.
Gay man, could you actually define what you find so disgusting about it? 🙂

Well,,,
The typical low-brow humor that isn't even funny—it just relies on mocking and insulting everyone except the people making it, basically enjoying the group activity of treating others like idiots (just look at the post above),
A constant stream of profanity piled on top of more profanity,
And those cheap, gritty sex scenes that feel more like assault or torture than anything else...

Bottom line: if someone actually enjoys watching this stuff, they can go wander through some flea markets or dive bars for all I care. I don't get why anyone would bother watching it on TV or in a theater when we're constantly being bombarded by it.

You're being way too hard on Americans!😲 Are you living under a rock or something?🙄
