An incredibly obnoxious and tiresome movie; it’s basically just one single joke stretched far beyond its expiration date. The only redeeming moment was that one scene where the security chief loudly swallows an orange. Now, that was actually funny.
A total disappointment from Zwigoff, especially when you consider how good Ghost World was.

Thornton just sits there rambling, whining and moaning about his life like we actually give a damn. I guess he's trying to trigger some sympathy so the audience will "forgive" him and finally understand why he acts like an Asshole throughout the whole thing..

If not, then the director of Bad Santa definitely saw Thornton in "Man" and realized he was the perfect guy for the role.
