But honestly, I've been worrying all week that I might catch something, and sure enough, my throat started hurting today!

See? It’s funny how that works. For me, whenever I'm swamped at work and totally exhausted, I just tell myself I don't have time to get sick—and I stay healthy. But the second I finally relax, that's when the sore throat hits.

I didn't make it past the third line. Maybe I'm just being too negative. 😁

That’s because you decided my topics were negative from the start. 😉

Man, I went through the exact same thing back in high school and throughout college. You know that mindset where you're like, "I literally cannot miss a single day of class" or "I absolutely cannot catch anything during finals week"... and honestly, it works. Even when there's a massive flu outbreak going around campus, I'll stay perfectly fine. I remember it vividly.
It’s just like what you said, though—once I actually decompress and don't have any major deadlines hanging over my head, that's when everything hits me at once. As for me, I've been stuck in bed today, but honestly, I'm feeling way better now than I was when I first posted this.

I am a firm believer in the power of a positive mindset, and I can say with absolute certainty that leaning into that optimism actually helped me overcome a significant health challenge...

I honestly swear by the power of grabbing a few drinks with the guys... I once talked my way out of a massive headache at home just by leaning into it, and besides, it keeps my immune system on point because I don't seem to catch every little bug going around...😉 😁

I’m right there with you, especially when it comes to those golden brews with a thick, creamy head.
When you're with a great group of people, it’s like soul medicine. You walk away feeling better instantly, both mentally and physically... 😁

Glad you liked it. I pulled that bit from a book called 'The Power of Positive Thinking.' Can't recall the author offhand, but if you can find a copy, grab it. It's great.

Interesting take at the start! I just feel like it leans much more heavily on the kabbalah than on this specific book. (Me being negative, I guess😁 )
