That's basically my old man's ritual before every wedding he attends.😁

It’d be pretty sad if he didn't 😁
Classic old-school dad move πŸ‘

Tell him to try some motor oil insteadβ€”I've heard that stuff works even better.

I make sure I get plenty of sleep, then hit my face with ice-cold water in the morning and stay hydrated all day. No coffee for me... But man, once you get into the rhythm, it really works... That first glass is always a struggle, but once you're moving...

Man, what a nightmareβ€”I went way too hard on the drinks without eating anything first, and it absolutely wrecked me. I’m finally starting to feel human again after two days...😁

First things firstβ€”you can't actually "cure" a hangover, you can only manage the damage control!!! If you haven't puked yet, honestly? Just go for it... it’ll make you feel so much better once it's out of your system!!! After that, hop in the shower, chug as much water or Gatorade as you can handle, and just try to sleep as much as possible!!!

Personally, I feel even more hammered the next morning than I did the night before... πŸ˜‚ I’ll try to stand up, only to end up face-planting right back onto the mattress... and man, I can't even tell you how many times I've accidentally walked straight into my closet while just trying to stumble around the room... πŸ˜‚ And yeah, I'm talking about that immediate aftermath once the booze finally wears off. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Hydration is the ultimate secret to enjoying a night out without the consequences. Whether you are sipping on some Napa Valley Cabernet, a cold Budweiser, or even a shot of bourbon, the rule remains the same: drink plenty of water. You can certainly mix different types of spiritsβ€”it won’t cause any harm as long as you stay hydrated. Think of it as a balancing act. A good strategy is to consume a full glass of water before every single alcoholic drink. Sure, you might find yourself making more frequent trips to the restroom throughout the evening, but it is a small price to pay to ensure you aren't waking up with a massive hangover tomorrow.

I second thisβ€”basically, I switch over to water for the last two hours of the night, chug about a quart or so, and I wake up feeling like a brand new person...πŸ‘

Back in the day, I used to just come home and take 2 Advil right before hitting the sack, and man, I wouldn't have a headache at all the next morning! And by lunchtime the next day, nothing hit the spot quite like some greasy chili or a hearty burger.πŸ™

The absolute best cure is just cutting out the booze entirely. πŸ‘

Whenever I’ve been drinking, I make it a point to fill up a water bottle and leave it right by my bed before heading out. If I don't, especially when I finally crash at those ungodly hours in the morning, I can never sleep through the night. I always end up waking up and having to take a few sips just to get through it. Honestly, ever since I started doing this, I haven't dealt with those nasty hangovers once. 😁

You should probably be taking antioxidants, like Vitamin E or C... there are also some specific supplements out there, I can't recall the exact names right now, but I'll check tomorrow 😁
