Jeffrey Walker3 said:I started wearing them toward the end of May, and honestly, through July, I didn't even have the nerve to show up in public with my lentils out regularly 🤣—meaning, I was wearing them, sure, but I just felt like everyone could see everything. Then summer hit, and I wasn't really going anywhere much anyway, so I wore them way less, mostly just lounging around the house, which meant I never truly got used to the sensation.
Once I hit September and started wearing them every single day at work, that's when things finally leveled out; once I committed to those eight-hour stretches daily, it finally felt normal.
It’s a bit of a struggle, 😁 but looking back, it was worth the hassle. If I had just forced myself to wear them constantly right after getting them, maybe I would have adjusted sooner.

Alright, well, I'm crossing my fingers that it works out the same way for me. Thanks.

Well, those little suction devices are used for removing contact lenses. You simply place the tip against the center of the lens, apply a bit of pressure, and the lens adheres to the tool. 🙂 That is all there is to it.

Wait, was that specifically for the semi-rigid, rigid, or soft lenses??????????????? Because I swear my semi-rigids come out way too easily for my liking
da I wish they'd just invent a little suction tool for putting them in, too!!!!!!!!!!!

This stuff is perfect for hard and semi-hard surfaces
Applying it is a total piece of cake ☕ 😬

Geez, how many question marks and exclamation points can one person use? 😵 Chill out on the hype just a little bit 😁

Look, personally,
I don't find them nearly as difficult to take off or put on, I'm just asking a question.

Could someone please help me make sense of this?

My exam results say:

OD -2.75 Dsph =1.0
OS 0.05 -3.00 -0.75 Dcyl ax 180=1.0

Dg myopia oc dex
Astigm myopicus comp oc sin

But on my contact lens box:

Right eye: D -2.75 BC 8.4 DIA 14.0
Left eye: D -2.75 CYL -1.25 AXIS 180 BC 8.6 DIA 14.5

It feels like the prescription from the doctor doesn't quite match what's on the lens box for my left eye???? Or maybe I'm just confused about how this works. Does anyone know anything about this? And why is the BC different too???

The lens for my left eye has these little marks on it. Last night I tried laying them horizontally, and suddenly my vision felt way more centered. Everything looks better, and honestly, it helped with the redness in my eye—which was getting pretty bad until I started paying attention to those markings. Nobody ever told me I had to watch out for them! I only actually started wearing toric lenses about ten days ago, so I'm still pretty new to all of this. I wonder if having those marks positioned wrong was what caused all that redness??

I'm not really sure what any of this means either; it's all pretty confusing to me.
