10 Things I Hate About You

Guess I have to go rewatch it for the millionth time... haven't seen it in ages...

I can't quite remember the last time I sat down to watch it, but honestly, I think I enjoyed the movie quite a bit! 👍

The only part I actually enjoyed was in "Not Another Teen Movie," specifically that scene where the guy in the stands sings "Janie's Got a Gun," they play the love police, and then they hit her with that electric device! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Or even when they parody that famous song—maybe it was a bit hit-or-miss, but if we're being honest, I wasn't even a fan of the song in the movie itself, so...

I’m just not a fan of Julia Stiles. I don't know, it feels like she never quite managed to step out from under the shadow cast by Kirsten Dunst, especially with this new wave of teen movies led by Malone-Moore-Duff and the rest of them... and now she's acting all quirky after being dropped from those sitcoms with Kelly from Beverly Hills... I think it was Amanda Staal or something? She's doing that "She's the Man" thing now, where she goes all out dressing up as a guy and everyone just falls for it instantly...

Oh, and then there's the person who has completely stepped into Julia Stiles' shoes, which is Natalie Portman, whom "everyone" seems to be annoyed by, but personally, she "terribly" "irritates" me... both her roles and her actual acting style... even if she seems perfectly lovely in person (like during an interview), when she's on screen 👎

She might not be a powerhouse actress, but comparing her directly to Duff or Moore isn't really fair, is it?🙂

And comparing her to Portman isn't right either because they are built so differently, and frankly, the films they star in are in completely different leagues and can't even be compared...

I actually find Dunst to be the most similar to her...

... at the end of the day, tastes vary, so anything goes, right?😉

I find myself in total agreement regarding this film...
In a sea of mediocre teen rom-coms, this one stands out as actually decent—even quite entertaining, if you have the patience for it...
Someone mentioned Clueless, which remains my absolute favorite from that genre...😍

@Roger Allen3 - watched Luke Skywalker on my cousin's computer the other day... poor guy, couldn't even leave the house for a year...

I haven't seen Never Been Kissed, but my only interest in Drew Barrymore is because she was absolutely smoking hot in Donnie Darko 😍

And that guy Luskic is such a flirt... he could easily become a massive star here, kind of like that one actor over in Mexico..

This movie is absolute perfection. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it... Heat Ledger is just incredible... if they actually had people like that in Australia, we’d be in serious trouble... 😬 .....

Super cinematic vibe. I’ve always had a soft spot for teen movies—they just have that energy. Hey, have any of you seen Varsity Blues? It stars James van der Beek, Paul Walker, and Scott Cann. They play high school football players, and John Voight plays their coach. Jessica Biel is in it too. I love this movie! It feels like Any Given Sunday, but set in High School with a teenage twist.

It’s one of those rare teen movies that I actually love and can probably watch over and over again without getting bored.🙂I really adore...
