So, this is like the third day in a row now...

First off, I can't even pass out until like 5 or 6 in the morning, and then once I actually do wake up, I'm just... stuck. Like, I literally can't move for a while. It’s almost literal, too... every single movement hurts. Even trying to stretch doesn't really do anything...

I tried taking some Advil, but honestly, it hasn't helped at all...

It feels like my muscles and my bones are all aching at the same time, I guess...

Maybe it's the spring weather, or something else entirely? I don't know...

thx

Are you running a fever? Are you under an immense amount of stress, or is there something else weighing heavily on your mind?

My temperature is totally normal...

Stress has been pretty intense lately, I guess...

Nothing's really bothering me though, honestly, I've actually been in a pretty great mood these past few days🙂

I think you should focus on controlling the view first. 🙂

What kind of spring are you talking about? For God's sake, just look out your window. 😲 😵

Kenneth Hernandez67, I'm not Josh 😢

granitebadger25, my eyes have been acting a bit weird lately, I just had them checked at 🙂
and I was thinking maybe it’s just that 'spring fatigue' thing or whatever they call it... I don't even know what might be causing it, honestly...

First, let’s rule out the obvious culprits, then we can move on to spring, alright?

Kenneth Hernandez67, what kind of symptoms should I be looking out for if there might be an issue with my kidneys?

Half the population struggles with weather shifts
Some people deal with muscle aches when the humidity spikes, while others get hit with headaches during low-pressure rainy days. It’s not just in your head or being hypersensitive anymore; there's actual science behind it. A growing field of medicine called meteoropathy suggests that weather patterns can significantly impact our health. These triggers generally fall into two camps: external factors like temperature, wind, air pressure, electromagnetic waves, and sunlight, versus moisture-based factors like rain, fog, clouds, and humidity. This can manifest as anything from respiratory and cardiovascular issues to digestive problems, rheumatism, or even neuropsychological and skin conditions. In fact, about 10% of those sensitive to the weather experience reactions so intense they can't even make it to work for a few days.

Who knows?😕
Maybe it's starting to look like that classified Pentagon report predicting a climate catastrophe.

Yeah, you should probably get some blood work done and check those thyroid levels... plus I know your blood pressure is up 🙂

I doubt it's just seasonal allergies hitting you hard right now, especially since we're currently buried under all this snow 🙂))

here we go again...

four nights in a row now...

three nights total = like 13 hours of sleep...

man, how much more can I take? I'm basically a walking insomniac at this point...

I honestly don't even know which one of us is gonna crash first 😁

Morning! 😉

Maybe you just "messed up" your internal clock.
My first real fix? I was slammed with work right in the middle of a freezing winter, and I just had to ditch everything and head out on a solo trip somewhere far away.
By the second day, I was sleeping like a baby and waking up totally refreshed.
I tried that same trick again this past summer, too. And hey, it worked perfectly—until I actually made it back home!

Think about it. Maybe you just need to shake up your routine.

I really need 😢

but I honestly can't stomach trekking through more hospital corridors again. 😢

I already pointed out that this is an issue we can actually resolve... why bother relying on connections? 😉

I get where you're coming from... nobody wants them digging into anything specific. I wouldn't want that either. But you have to realize that insomnia is just one symptom that could lead to serious damage to your vital organs.

Perhaps you’ve contracted some sort of strange virus... 🙂 (much like myself)

So, what’s the deal with circadian rhythms? 🙂

Anyway, I’m such a night owl and I barely get any sleep... I honestly can't even think about hitting the hay before 2 AM

Speaking of catching some Z's...

Like, when I was staying in Miami, I actually crashed at 11 PM on my first night (probably just because I only slept two hours the day before, woke up at 4 AM, and spent the whole day traveling... but then, the very next night, I didn't pass out until like 4 😢

During summer vacations, I love watching the sunrise down by the pier (it's seriously gorgeous), but then I just sleep in until 10 or 11, so it’s really not a big deal...

I mean, I got used to sleeping way less than everyone else a long time ago... but 😢 man, seriously... this is just getting to be way too much

And I absolutely hate hospitals... the whole vibe just gross me out 😢

Joshua Jones, hurry up and get here, you're next in line... but all that waiting, the endless delays, the making everything so complicated 😢 ugh, it's just nasty

Nowadays, you can actually just have bloodwork done right at your own house. I don't even think it’s as crazy expensive as people make it out to be anymore. It’s probably a total lifesaver for anyone with a packed schedule who just doesn't have the energy or the patience to sit around in a doctor's waiting room all day...

Look, I’m gonna be real with you—I think you just don't get enough physical exhaustion. You seriously need to start moving more. That back pain? It's probably because you're being too sedentary. Start with some light exercise twice a week, stop eating right before bed, and for heaven's sake, leave work at the office when the day is done.

😘

ladies, you guys are honestly the best...

man, I am definitely not lacking in physical exhaustion right now... I just moved, so I've basically been sprinting around my house all day long, just constantly on the move...

plus, since I'm back home again, I've been out walking almost every single day... it’s nothing crazy, I guess, just a quick loop around the neighborhood🙂

the only thing is, I’m totally ignoring that whole work stuff during the day, because that's really the only time I can actually get things done in peace...

I was going through the exact same thing just a few days ago
just totally exhausted, a splitting headache, dizzy spells... I had zero motivation and felt like I’d been hit by a freight train.
And then, to top it all off, I can't even fall asleep.
