Well, that’s exactly what I’m talking about—and besides, doesn't that opening scene from Ghost remind you of something "similar" from The Matrix?

And while we're at it, someone please explain the deal with Blade Runner—what exactly was stolen, copied, or considered plagiarism?

As for Blade Runner? Look, I never actually said it was a plagiarism or that anything was ripped off. You completely misread me there. What I meant was—when I finally saw Blade Runner, I realized just how much of a movie novice I really was; I didn't even know what a *good* film looked like until I saw Blade Runner.🙂

Best,👋

Do you really judge something as a copy based on just one similar scene? 👍

The whole concept of artificial intelligence isn't exactly groundbreaking; people have been fantasizing, writing about, and filming it forever. You can't just toss everything into the plagiarism basket because of one trope. In The Matrix, it’s merely a piece of the narrative, a single thread in the larger idea...

Alright, I definitely mixed up my facts regarding Blade Runner. 🙂

Until I actually sat down and watched "24," I had no clue that basically every movie out there is just a cheap rip-off and total garbage. Long live Jack Bauer!

Seriously, modern movies are absolute trash. TV series are killing it right now.

The whole concept of artificial intelligence isn't some rare phenomenon—it’s been fantasized about, written, and filmed a thousand times over... you can't just toss everything into the plagiarism basket just because of that. In The Matrix, it's merely one thread of the narrative, just one part of the core idea.

Fine, fine—maybe it isn't plagiarism. But hey, I consider myself a tough critic. 😠

I'm heading out to run errands. 🙂>

I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Honestly, I actually had the DVD sitting right there at my place yesterday, and I could have easily swung by a buddy's house to check it out, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. That's how much I'm actually looking forward to seeing what happens after the second one.
