It isn't going to change my habit of enjoying a Cola, now or ever, but I suppose I could experiment with some of these little life hacks to see if they actually work—like seeing if my toilet bowl really does end up sparkling... 😁
To your health!
1. In many parts of the USA, police departments reportedly carry gallons of Coca-Cola in their cruisers to help scrub away blood traces from the pavement following accidents on the road.
2. If you place a raw steak in a bowl filled with Coca-Cola and leave it for two days, you’ll find there is absolutely nothing left...
3. For cleaning the toilet: pour a can of Coca-Cola into the bowl, let it sit for an hour, and then flush. The citric acid in the Coca-Cola helps dissolve those stubborn limescale stains.
4. To tackle rust spots on your car: soak a wad of aluminum foil in Coca-Cola and use it to scrub the spots away.
5. Dealing with corrosion on car battery terminals? Pouring a can of Coca-Cola over them should make that buildup vanish.
6. You can clean almost any rust stain by soaking a cloth in Coca-Cola and letting it rest on the surface for a few minutes.
7. For a perfectly juicy roast: pour a can of Coca-Cola into your roasting pan, wrap the meat in foil, and start cooking. About thirty minutes before it's finished, peel back the foil, baste the meat with the liquid, and let it brown to a beautiful golden hue.
8. Removing grease stains: dampen your clothes with Coca-Cola, add a bit of detergent, and toss them in the washing machine. The Coca-Cola acts as a little extra help against the oil.
9. If your car windows are fogging up, try wiping them down with a bit of Coca-Cola.
Just some food for thought...
1. Coca-Cola contains phosphoric acid (with a pH of 2.8), which is strong enough to dissolve a fingernail in about four days. This same acid can leach calcium from your bones, which is a major factor in osteoporosis.
2. When transporting the Coca-Cola syrup concentrate, distributors have to use specialized tankers designed specifically to prevent rusting.
3. It’s been common knowledge for twenty years that Coca-Cola distributors use the drink itself to clean their trucks and engines!
What do you all think?
pretty bad 👎
I don't even drink it myself since I'm not supposed to, but after reading all of that, I wouldn't touch it even if I were desperate...
