I’ve got this allergy flare-up going on and I have no clue what’s causing it, so I'm looking for some input.
It looks like these tiny little spots, kind of similar to chickenpox, popping up here and there on my arms. On my stomach, I get a few of these dots surrounded by redness.

It usually shows up when I’m sweating, like during a run or something.
Could it be a reaction to a specific type of fabric, my shampoo, or maybe the laundry detergent I use?
Just a heads-up: I'm currently going through puberty, so maybe that's playing a role.

Sweating can definitely trigger skin allergies. Honestly, your best bet is to head over to a dermatologist; they can run actual tests so you aren't just guessing about the cause.
In the meantime, try sticking strictly to 100% cotton clothing.
If you don't see any improvement, stop using fabric softener and try cutting back on the amount of detergent you use. If none of that works, go see the doctor.
It’ll save you a lot of time and frustration in the long run.

Just checking to see if anyone else has dealt with this... honestly, I've been dealing with this crazy allergy flare-up for the last few days...

The first day, it popped up on my neck and part of my back—looked just like those annoying mosquito bites or when you accidentally brush against some poison ivy, only the welts were way bigger. I ended up hitting the ER, got a steroid shot and some extra meds through an IV, and boom, problem solved.

The second night, at the exact same time, it happened again. I took the antihistamine my doctor prescribed and it cleared up in a few hours.

Then today, here we go again! This time it’s just on my lip, and I look like a total mess, but I bet it'll spread to my back and everywhere else soon. I already popped some antihistamines to try and get ahead of it.

Oh, I should probably mention that I also have Chronos disease. I wouldn't say it's related, though. I've been on Imuran and folic acid for years now.

I haven't eaten anything different today compared to yesterday, so I really doubt it's something in my food. Drinks seem fine too; I only drink one specific type of juice all day, and the reaction always hits me in the evening.

I'm ruling out shower gels and stuff because I haven't even showered since this morning (besides my normal morning routine), and I didn't switch brands, so nothing flared up then.

I did try a new sinus spray a couple of days ago, so we thought maybe that was it, but I haven't used it in two days and the reaction is still happening every night.

Any ideas? Because I'm seriously starting to lose my mind here.

Hey there

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? This is the third summer in a row I've dealt with this. On both my legs—specifically the back of the calves—I'm getting these massive clusters of bites. The itching is absolutely unbearable; it doesn't stop until I basically scratch myself raw and start bleeding.

It happened again this time while I was playing soccer. We were at a field right near a river, and man, it was sweltering and humid out there with mosquitoes everywhere. I could feel them biting immediately. But nothing happened the first day. I just went home, showered, and hit the sack. The itching didn't even kick in until the next day.
It starts in one spot, and I scratch and scratch until the skin breaks. Then the itch dies down for a bit, only to flare up somewhere else. After a few days, I'm looking at at least 50 little sores all over both legs.
This happened last summer and the summer before that, too. It looks terrible—honestly, I look like I'm covered in polka dots.
Is this just mosquitoes, or am I dealing with some kind of allergy?? If it's mosquitoes, why only on my legs? And if it's an allergy, what kind is it and how do I make it stop??

Thanks in advance for any help

Alright, look... I’ve never dealt with allergies in my life, but I woke up this morning with my stomach and back all flared up and red. I caught a cold yesterday and figured, why not just knock it down with a tylolhot powder drink before bed? You know, those instant stuff packets you mix with water for flu and cold symptoms. I’d never even touched one of those before. Fast forward to this morning—I actually feel way better, energy is back, but my skin is bright red across my midsection and back. It stings a bit, and those spots feel hot to the touch. I’m really hoping it’s just an allergic reaction; the lady at the CVS pharmacy mentioned it’s totally possible I’m reacting to some ingredient in the mix. Honestly, I'm a little sketched out, but I’m dragging my feet about going to the doctor because I’m praying this just clears up on its own. Is that even a realistic thing, or should I be heading to urgent care or grabbing some Benadryl cream? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of mess? It feels like I spent all day at the beach getting a massive sunburn, though it’s more of a stinging sensation than a burn. 😕 😢

thanks

You might want to get to the doctor a little faster!
In last night's episode of House, a woman passed away due to an adverse reaction to some flu medication.

So, first this weird little circle popped up on my leg—it’s black around the edges and white in the middle. Now I’ve got three more just like it on my arm, though they're smaller. Honestly, I'm thinking maybe some mosquitoes just went to town on me, but could it actually be from those bites? My leg is looking a little swollen too. Help!
